Social media users ripped into Vice President Kamala Harris in the wake of a second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump after an old “joke” she made resurfaced online.
A 2020 post from the Trump War Room account was shared again on X, featuring a video of Harris making an appearance on the “Ellen” show, where she made what she thought was a joke, followed by an exuberant cackle.

Over the weekend, Harris dialed up another pandering speech before a black caucus dinner where she unveiled yet another in her growing arsenal of accents.
The Democratic presidential nominee was speaking to the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation at the Phoenix Awards Dinner over the weekend when she devolved into another fake accent. The cringe was palpable.
Her famous cackling laugh was almost icing on the cake for those who viewed the video clip online.
“Hello to all of my Divine Nine brothers and sisters!” she exclaimed. “And to all my HBCU brothers and sisters.”

“Kamala Harris accent du jor,” columnist James Hirsen wrote, joining a torrent of other reactions on X.
Harris has been mocked for shifting her accent in different environments, such as when she pulled a southern drawl in July at a campaign rally in Atlanta, Georgia, telling the audience, “You all helped us win in 2020 and we gonna do it again in 2024!”
“You may not be a union member but you better thank a union member for the five-day work week,” Harris told teachers in Michigan.
A supercut montage of Harris and her many accent iterations was shared by Grabien founder Tom Elliott on X, providing a mind-numbing look at the vice president from California who was raised in Canada and is of Jamaican and Indian heritage.

The latest accent drew a deluge of criticism on X.
New? Or is it her old fake black accent?
Either way, it’s incredibly insulting to black people.
Shame on Kamala.

If one ever needed an example of what “Identity Politics” looks like in practice, here it is.
Disingenuous, fake, and weirdly offensive.
