While a Florida sheriff touted his department’s efforts to crack down on illegal aliens, efforts at interfering with ICE continued with a North Carolina woman confronting officials.
After advancing President Donald Trump’s plans for mass deportations as a priority in the state legislature, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) signed a bill last week to empower state and local law enforcement to aid with federal efforts. Speaking with Fox News Digital, St. Johns County Sheriff Robert Hardwick explained how that work was underway to “take the tip of the spear and go to a different level.”
“Deputy sheriffs have been working on Interstate 95 with our Customs and Border Patrol, with ICE, and with ERO,” he explained concerning the partnership with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations.
“We’ve been working with all of our federal partners to go ahead and enforce not just immigration, but also enforce human trafficking, sex trafficking, guns, narcotics, and every illegal activity that’s going on out there,” detailed the sheriff who explained that license plate readers had been set up at the county’s borders that averaged between 17 and 22 hits per day.
Hardwick spoke of the Immigration Alien Query (IAQ) system being used on a daily basis with detainers happening daily as well and said, “Our deputy sheriffs will take you to the St. Johns County Jail for driving with no valid driver’s license. And we’ll roll your fingerprints into the systems. We’ll also run it through a system called IAQ. And it will show if you have a civil deportation letter or maybe a warrant for your arrest.”
Regarding his position that his deputies were the “tip of the spear,” the sheriff expressed, “And that means we’re going to actually hold all the sheriffs accountable and let them play in the sandbox and make sure we’re working with our federal partners to enforce these deportations, holds and our lists.”
“And a simple warning, that in the state of Florida, if you are wanted — whether you’re an illegal alien or you’re a citizen of the United States — we are going to hunt you down to find you and hold you accountable for your actions,” he added as meetings were held with state and federal officials on a weekly basis with the state limited to 1,500 beds for deportation.
Meanwhile, as the FCC opened an investigation into a California radio station for airing the whereabouts of ICE agents during an operation and leakers were warned of prosecution should they tip off locals to raids, a woman in North Carolina embodied the resistance to deportations as she demanded federal law enforcement show her a warrant for the arrest of three men said to be illegal aliens from India.
Sharing her video with Siembra NC and local news outlets, Alisa Cullison approached agents and repeatedly asked for a “signed order from a judge” before contending what they were doing was “illegal” during an operation in Durham, North Carolina.

Cullison also participated in a press conference with Siembra NC, a “pro-Black, pro-indigena, pro-worker, pro-mujer, pro-lesbian gay, bi, trans and queer, pro-climate and pro-migrant” affiliate of the “Latinx” organization Mijente.
A statement provided to WRAL from CBP explained, “U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers conducted a targeted enforcement operation in Durham, NC, area today, resulting in the detention of several individuals identified as illegal aliens. All detainees are currently being held at a federal detention facility pending deportation hearings.”
Amy Mek, founder and editor-in-chief of the Rise Align Ignite Reclaim Foundation reacted to Cullison’s video by calling out Siembra as a part of “Leftist ICE Watch Patrols” attempting to tip off illegal aliens and prevent officials from successfully deporting them.
ALERT: Leftist ICE Watch Patrols Are HERE—Hunting ICE Agents to Shield Illegals!
They’re not hiding it anymore—Siembra, NC, and other radical groups are proudly posting photos of their neighborhood patrols stalking ICE agents, tipping off illegals, and blocking deportations!… pic.twitter.com/7kX8yCb4XS

Others harkened back to Vice President J.D. Vance’s remarks on “ordo amoris” as globalist, open-border advocates continued to express greater love for criminal foreign nationals than those in their own communities, including family, negatively impacted by the deterioration of national sovereignty.
These same people cheered as fellow American citizens were arrested, and their lives ruined over the J6 farce. But deporting illegals is terrible to them? How do they get like this?

Wow, isn’t this obstruction?

Please make them an example & arrest them.
As a normal American citizen, I’d be arrested if I aided a criminal. They are probably still getting taxpayer funds from somewhere. Imagine how many money laundering schemes they have going on. Democrats are thieves.
