A House Democrat and mayoral candidate was caught on an audio recording unloading on members of her staff in a profanity-filled rant that was then shared online.
The audio clip of U.S. Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, D-Texas, caught the congresswoman berating her staff as having no brains and being “f- -k-ups.”The recording was obtained by the Texas newspaper Current Revolt and was then published, allowing listeners to hear what was purportedly the voice of Jackson Lee, the Hillary Clinton-endorsed congresswoman who is now running for Houston mayor.
“You took a piece of paper from that woman regarding something that was owned by Duncantell. Where is it? What date was it?” the voice allegedly of Jackson Lee can be heard asking a male staffer, who may have been the one making the recording.
The staffer responds that he took gave the paper to someone named “Jerome” and that he would call him about getting it, prompting the verbal abuse by the congresswoman.

“I don’t want you to do a g*ddamn thing. I want you to have a f*cking brain. I want you to have read it. I want you to say ‘Congresswoman, with such and such date.’ That’s what I want. That’s the kind of staff that I want to have,” she can be heard saying.
“So some stupid other motherf*cker did it. And, and I don’t have the information. Nobody sent me the information. I need to ensure schedule and, uh, you know, if Boo Boo did it, shitass did it, f*ckface did it. And nobody knows a g*ddamn thing in my office! Okay? Nothing!” continued Jackson Lee, who has been representing the same Texas district for nearly three decades in Congress.
“I gave it to you. Your job was to get it on the calendar, imprint it in your brain, or send me the information back saying, ‘Congresswoman, I made sure that the Ovide Ducantell event that you gave me for a so-and-so date at seven is on the f*cking calendar.’ Not to ‘Oh Jerome has it.’Okay?” she continued, referring to Ovide Duncantell, founder of the Black Heritage Society, Inc.
She then went off about the second staffer as the tirade continued.
“So when I called Jerome, he only sitting up there like a fatass stupid idiot talking about what the f*ck he doesn’t know. Okay? Both of y’all are f*ck ups [inaudible]. It’s the worst sh*t that I could have ever had put together,” the audio clip continues. “Two g*ddamn big ass children f*cking idiots serve no g*ddamn purpose. Ain’t managing nobody. Nobody’s respecting them. Nobody gives a sh*t about what you’re doing and you ain’t doing sh*t. And this is an example of it. I gave it to Jerome. This is not child’s work.”
Fox News noted that, “This is not the first time Jackson Lee has gone off on staff members. In fact, in 2011, a Daily Caller report cited a number of former staff members as saying she used demeaning language and name-calling when addressing them.”
