Constitutional law professor Jonathan Turley weighed in on a new finding by House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer about Biden bank records.
Bank records show that Hunter Biden’s company, Owasco PC, transferred money to his father, now President Joe Biden, in 2018. Comer released the information on Monday that Turley said could be the next step in what’s needed for a formal impeachment inquiry.
Hunter Biden’s business entity, Owasco PC, made direct monthly payments to Joe Biden. The bank records don’t lie.
Owasco PC received payments from Chinese-state linked companies & other shady entities. Joe Biden knew & benefitted from his family’s business schemes. pic.twitter.com/MfvtA4yEZU

“Today, the House Oversight Committee is releasing subpoenaed bank records that show Hunter Biden’s business entity, Owasco PC, made direct monthly payments to Joe Biden,” Comer said Monday with the release of the records showing the Owasco entity transferred $1,380 to Joe Biden on Sept. 17, 2018.
“This wasn’t a payment from Hunter Biden’s personal account but an account for his corporation that received payments from China and other shady corners of the world,” Comer said.
Though many in the left-leaning media jumped in to clarify, contest, or debunk the information, Turley discussed the information on Fox News’ “America Reports.”
“When I testified in the first Biden impeachment hearing, I said that there was ample evidence to justify an impeachment inquiry and that a formal vote should be held. I can’t imagine how anyone would look at this evidence and not believe that a formal inquiry should begin,” the Fox News contributor and legal commentator said.
“There’s been a litany of lies that have come out of the Biden family and the White House. The president denied knowing about any of these business arrangements. Even Hunter said that wasn’t true. We now know he called in numerous times to talk with clients. He had meetings, photographs with these clients. And now we see joint accounts where money is moving to Joe Biden,” Turley continued.
“We even have Joe Biden’s house being listed for some of these payments by Hunter Biden. It’s rather daunting to imagine what you need, according to the Democrats,” Turley added. “So I think the moment of truth has arrived. Democrats have either got to show that they stand against corruption and approve an inquiry or they have to take ownership of this. because influence peddling is the favorite form of corruption in Washington. But none of us have seen the likes of this.”
On social media, there were efforts to push back on the bank records and mockery of Comer.
This is a whole lot of nothing. The $1380 was reimbursements to Joe Biden from Hunter for car payments. Joe gave him money, Hunter was paying it back. God you guys suck at this https://t.co/P8zOBSkzZl

James Comer wants to impeach Joe Biden because,… he helped his son pay for this truck.
Comer Pyle is an imbecile and should never, ever be taken seriously. pic.twitter.com/ASiZUcQK9m

So, these three payments of $1,380 each (totaling $4,140) appear to be Hunter Biden paying his dad back for truck loan/lease payments that his dad paid on his son’s behalf when Hunter was low on cash.

Others exposed the “debunking” and the left’s agenda.
Amazing how the WaPo does real time “debunking” every time @RepJamesComer @GOPoversight reveal documentary evidence from their impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden corruption. Yet when Adam Schiff was peddling patently bogus material linking Trump to Russia and “golden showers”… pic.twitter.com/bFhcF3sqr2

The goalposts have moved so far that Corporate Media appears to be using emails from Hunter Biden’s laptop to make their latest defense of the Bidens.
This money was not from Hunter Biden’s personal bank account. It’s from a Hunter Biden business entity that received payments… https://t.co/6FsxrCLpzC
