Biden calls out to lawmaker he says he JUST took a photo with, then realizes she’s not even at the event: ‘I got mixed up’

President Joe Biden got things “mixed up” again while in North Carolina.

During a speaking event in Raleigh on Thursday where he touted his economic record, the president appeared confused when he took a photo with a woman but called for a Democrat North Carolina congresswoman who was not even there.

“I want to mention Congresswoman Deborah Ross, where’s Deborah?” Biden asked the audience at the Abbotts Creek Community Center, referring to the two-term congresswoman.

“I just had my picture taken with her, that’s probably why she left,” Biden joked, drawing laughs from the crowd.

But a few moments later, the 81-year-old had a light bulb go off.

“Oh, she couldn’t be here actually. That’s not true, I got mixed up … She’s up in Washington right now,” he said.

The incident was a reminder of when he had asked “Where’s Jackie?” at a 2022 event and then looked for the late Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-Ind.) in the crowd.

After his speech Thursday, the president took off to get some food.

“Biden’s motorcade then stopped at a Cook Out just north of Interstate 440, where he and North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper got out of their vehicles and ordered at the burger joint’s walk-up window,” WRAL reported.”Biden’s order? A bacon cheeseburger, fries, and a ‘black and white’ shake — vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup — that he referred to as ‘triple thick.’  After walking away from the building, he returned to the Cook Out order window and asked for a spoon.”

“The governor was bragging about your place. He said ‘you have the best shakes in North Carolina,’” Biden told the employees and also picked up the tab for other customers, according to WRAL

Biden’s gaffe during his speech earlier sparked plenty of mockery online where many social media users also weighed in on the sad nature of his health.
