Tucker Carlson lit up Republican lawmakers who have called for retaliatory action against Iran for the drone attack in Jordan that killed 3 U.S. servicemen.
The former Fox News host ripped Senators Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) and John Cornyn (R-Texas) in a simple response on X after their hawkish remarks prompted him to refer to them as “F*cking lunatics.”
“Three U.S. service members were killed and at least 34 wounded in a drone attack by Iran-backed militants on U.S. troops in northeastern Jordan near the Syrian border, President Joe Biden and U.S. officials said on Sunday,” Reuters reported.
“While we are still gathering the facts of this attack, we know it was carried out by radical Iran-backed militant groups operating in Syria and Iraq,” President Joe Biden said in response in a statement. “Have no doubt – we will hold all those responsible to account at a time and in a manner of our choosing.”
After asking for a moment of silence during a campaign event in South Carolina, Biden said: “We shall respond.”
Republican Senator Tom Cotton was among many Biden critics who reacted to the news, saying in a statement, “The only answer to these attacks must be devastating military retaliation against Iran’s terrorist forces … Anything less will confirm Joe Biden as a coward.”
“The time to start taking this aggression seriously was long before more brave Americans lost their lives,” U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell said.
On social media, Graham posted, “The only thing the Iranian regime understands is force.”
The only thing the Iranian regime understands is force. Until they pay a price with their infrastructure and their personnel, the attacks on U.S. troops will continue.

“Secretary Austin’s efforts to deter aggression against our forces in the region has failed miserably,” the South Carolina Republican added.
“I’ve long since lost confidence in the Biden national security team to deter Iran. If they do not change their policies now, more American service members in the region will pay…,” he wrote, adding, “Hit Iran now. Hit them hard.”
Hit Iran now. Hit them hard.

Cornyn expressed a simple message in response to the news, writing, “Target Tehran.”

There were plenty of X users who concurred.
“For centuries, American statesmen reviled the thought of civilian deaths & war as a last resort. Now we have the likes of Lindsey Graham & Nikki Haley giddily calling to ‘Hit Iran now & Hit them hard,'” former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy wrote. “It’s disgusting & says a lot about the kind of GOP they’re trying to recreate.”
Well said Tucker Carlson.
The last thing we need is to get more Americans needlessly kįlled.
Shame on Lindsey Graham and John Cornyn for being willing to risk the lives of more innocent citizens over war that doesn’t concern the US.
America wants the peace that Trump brought.
