Trump trolls Taylor Swift about being disloyal to him in master move

by

Former President Donald Trump poured cold water on rumors – and wishful thinking by Democrats – of a hoped-for endorsement of President Joe Biden.

Trump took to social media ahead of Super Bowl LVIII to comment on the potential of mega-pop star Taylor Swift repeating her 2020 endorsement of Biden by backing the feeble 81-year-old again in ’24. Swift was on hand at Sunday’s championship game to cheer on her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

“I signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all other Musical Artists,” Trump wrote on Truth Social Sunday, referring to the landmark 2018 bill he signed affecting the music industry.

“Joe Biden didn’t do anything for Taylor, and never will. There’s no way she could endorse Crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt President in the History of our Country, and be disloyal to the man who made her so much money,” he added before paying Kelce a sort of compliment.

“Besides that, I like her boyfriend, Travis, even though he may be a Liberal, and probably can’t stand me!” Trump joked.

The Hill reported:

The timing of Swift’s budding relationship with Kelce has prompted swirling conspiracy theories on conservative media. The theories are based on the unfounded idea that the league is rigging games to make sure the pop singer and her boyfriend’s team both make and win the Super Bowl and eventually support Biden’s reelection bid.

The singer has not spoken about endorsing Biden’s 2024 run, but she did voice her support for him during the 2020 presidential election in an interview with V Magazine. An endorsement from Swift could spark a boost in Biden’s numbers, with some pointing to Swift’s single Instagram post last year directing her followers to the nonpartisan, nonprofit Vote.org that led to 35,000 new voter registrations.

Naturally, Trump’s Truth Social post sent leftists and “Swifties” into a meltdown:

But Trump found plenty of support and appreciation for his “Legit funny statement.”
