Former NFL wide receiver Brandon Marshall dished out some “hot tea” about the Super Bowl that involved pop mega-star Taylor Swift and rapper Kanye West.
He made the eyebrow-raising claim Tuesday about how Swift allegedly had West removed from his seat at the championship game at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas after he had purchased seats in front of her private suite.
“More tea… so Kanye West pulls up to Super Bowl,” Marshall said on his “Paper Route” podcast Tuesday.

“Kanye West buys a ticket right in front of [Taylor Swift’s] booth, so any time they were going to be showing [Swift], Kanye’s face was going to be there,” claimed Marshall, who incorrectly stated it was Katy Perry’s booth before he corrected himself.
“He had a mask on… typical Kanye. So Taylor Swift gets pissed off. She, boom boom, makes a call or two, everybody’s involved,” Marshall, who played in the NFL from 2006-2018. continued. “[Kanye] gets kicked out of the stadium… Hot tea, hot tea… He was trying to leverage her celebrity to make some…so you gotta go back to their beef.”
Swift was, of course, on hand at the game to cheer on her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, as they beat the San Francisco 49ers in overtime.
West was at the game with his wife Bianca Censori and wore an Alexander McQueen Jesus mask.

“At present, there doesn’t appear to be evidence to confirm that West was kicked out of the Super Bowl. He did leave the game, but whether he and his partner were asked to leave or departed the game on their own isn’t clear,” Forbes reported.
A representative for West told Forbes that Marshall’s account was “fabricated.”
“This is a completely fabricated rumor. It is not true,” the representative reportedly said.
West infamously interrupted Swift’s acceptance speech for Video of the Year at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, declaring that Beyonce’s video for “Single Ladies” was “one of the greatest videos of all time” after he grabbed the microphone – and the spotlight – for a moment that few will forget.
In another report about West at the Super Bowl, Page Six claimed that the 46-year-old songwriter and record producer did not get a “warm welcome” when he “unexpectedly turned up in chicken chain Raising Cane’s Super Bowl suite to watch the game alongside many, many other famous names on Sunday.”
“Interestingly, sources tell us that Leo DiCaprio — a longtime pal of the disgraced rapper-turned-designer-turned-prolific-nutter — was among the starry throng and definitely saw West, but didn’t so much as acknowledge his one-time buddy,” the outlet reported. “Sources say West wasn’t invited to the suite by the booming bird brand, and wasn’t even a guest of a guest.”
Stars such as Tobey Maguire, Vince Vaughn, Tyga, Wiz Khalifa, French Montana, the D’Amelio family, Ashanti and Nelly, Diplo, Wayne Gretzky, Tiffany Haddish and others were reportedly at the Raising Cane’s suite. According to a source, West dropped in only for a few minutes.
“He came in for a few minutes with his wife,” an insider told Page Six, “He was just like a guy dropping into suites, like, ‘Can I stick around for a minute? Can I get a free drink?’”
