‘Diddy’ breaks silence, calls raid a ‘witch hunt,’ as damning Justin Bieber and Usher footage surfaces

by

Fox News host Jesse Watters addressed the latest news on Sean “Diddy” Combs having his homes raided in connection to a federal human trafficking investigation.

On Tuesday’s “Jesse Watters Primetime,” the host reported that attorneys for the billionaire entertainer and producer had released a statement that condemned the “excessive” measures federal agents used in the “unprecedented ambush.”

As Combs made headlines amid the allegations and the raid, videos resurfaced online of a 15-year-old Justin Bieber with Combs as well as a 2016 interview with Usher who claimed he was exposed to some “pretty wild'”stuff when he lived with Combs at the age of 14.

“He’s having forty-eight hours with Diddy, where we hanging out and what we’re doing we can’t really disclose,” Combs, with a young Bieber alongside him, said in the video clip.

“I have been given custody of him. He’s signed to Usher and I had legal guardianship of Usher when he did his first album,” he added. “I don’t have legal guardianship of him [Bieber] but for the next forty-eight hours he’s with me and we’re gonna go full crazy.”

Usher spoke of his time as a minor living with the hip-hop mogul in the 1990s.

The videos and previous legal run-ins, allegations, and lawsuits surfaced again in the wake of the raids Monday. shining a spotlight on Combs’ lifestyle. His attorney condemned the raid in a statement on Tuesday.

“Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences,” Combs’ attorney, Aaron Dyer, said in a statement Tuesday after the Monday raids at his Los Angeles and Miami homes.

“There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated. Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities,” he added.

“Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way,” the attorney continued. “This unprecedented ambush — paired with an advanced, coordinated media presence — leads to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits.”

Dyer noted that there was “no finding of criminal or civil liability with any of these allegations,” maintaining that Combs is innocent.

Fox News host Jesse Watters noted that the raid was likely “triggered by a litany of lawsuits” against the entertainer, including the explosive sexual assault lawsuit brought against him by his former producer, allegations that Watters contended likened him to the late convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and “aim straight for the heart of the music industry.”

The so-called “freak parties” by Combs that swarmed with “sex workers, drugs and underage girls” were reportedly attended by a veritable who’s who in the entertainment world and beyond, including British royal Prince Harry. The billionaire artist rubbed elbows with top names in multiple areas and was lauded by executives, celebrities and politicians.

“Diddy’s lifestyle was an open secret in the industry,” Watters said, noting that “people had been warning about this for years.”
