FBI claims it turned off security cameras during Mar-a-Lago raid ‘for agent safety’

Former President Donald Trump’s attorneys returned to court this week in another hearing on the case of the FBI raid on his Mar-a-Lago estate to seize allegedly classified documents.

And while Trump continues to maintain his innocence and his legal team continues to question the legality of the raid and the charges, another important bit of information was revealed about the agents’ arrival on the Florida property.

“Jack Smith’s team just filed a response opposing Donald Trump’s motion to dismiss docs case based on ‘spoliation’ of evidence seized during MAL raid,” wrote Julie Kelly in a series of posts on X following the hearing.

“Wait…FBI wanted security cameras off for ‘agent safety?’ But I have been told by the experts that no danger existed!” Kelly added.

“FBI instructed the Secret Service that security cameras needed to be shut off for ‘agent safety.’ MAL employee shut down the servers remotely–the servers were restarted about half hour later at Trump’s lawyer direction,” Kelly wrote, citing court documents.

Kelly further reported on the latest challenges to special counsel Jack Smith’s case, which have to do with the infamous photo released after the Aug. 8, 2022 raid.

“Special Counsel Jack Smith just admitted the FBI added cover sheets to alleged classified documents found at MAL and took photos for evidence,” she noted. “This confirms my report from last month that the FBI doctored evidence to produce stunt photos of classified docs at MAL.”

“Did Biden’s FBI come with a plan to stage the scene and release photos to propaganda press?” The Federalist’s Mollie Hemingway asked on X.

She wasn’t the only one to react to the latest in the ongoing attack on Trump.
