‘Ho, Ho, Ho!’ Biden gives Santa greeting on July 4th after Kamala almost introduces him as VP

by

If Americans were not already convinced that President Joe Biden should not be running the country, the Fourth of July festivities at the White House just added to their concerns.

One moment in particular stood out as Vice President Kamala Harris got ready to introduce the feeble 81-year-old, she sounded as if she stopped herself from referring to him as vice president before the cheering crowd.

“We give thanks to our commander-in-chief, the vi— the president!” she yelled into the microphone at the official White House Fourth of July celebration. “The extraordinary president of the United States, Joe Biden!”

Perhaps more unsettling was Biden’s response as he reacted like Santa Claus.

“Ho, Ho, Ho!” he said as he took the mic on stage joined by first lady Jill Biden, Harris and second gentleman Doug Emhoff.

Earlier, during his brief speech at a White House barbeque, the president displayed the now-familiar behavior of seeming to lose his train of thought, slurring speech and even taking on topics that leave listeners scratching their heads. After taking another dig at former President Trump with a debunked claim about visiting “that World War I cemetery in France” and seeming to refer to his rival as a colleague, Biden ended his speech but returned for a final word.

“One last thing, and I used to think when I was a senator, there were always congestion on the highways. There’s no congestion anymore. We go on the highway, there’s no congestion,” Biden said, with no other context for the topic.

“And so what? The way they get me to stop talking, they’ll say, ‘We just shut down all the roads, Mr. President, you’re gonna lose all the votes if you don’t get in. But anyway, I’ll be back out,” he added.

Social media reaction was just as expected:
