Tucker slams ‘sleazy’ Lindsey Graham for Vance ‘lie,’ marvels with John Rich at God’s hand on Trump

by

Tucker Carlson dropped a reality check on Sen. Lindsey Graham following the announcement of the GOP vice presidential nominee.

Graham touted Sen. JD Vance as a “hard worker” who “will be a great spokesperson for the America First agenda” after former President Donald Trump announced the 39-year-old Ohio Republican as his running mate on Monday.

In a post on social media Monday afternoon, Graham said that Vance “has one of the most compelling stories in American politics, overcoming so much adversity in life.”

“He understands the struggles of working Americans, as he has walked in their shoes and has become one of their best champions,” the South Carolina senator continued.

“Bright, articulate, and a Marine veteran, he will serve President Trump well on the campaign trail. It is imperative we win this election to end the disastrous policies of the Biden Administration and Make America Great Again,” Graham wrote, adding, “This is a clear choice for America.”

Among others on social media who soon called out the lawmaker was Carlson who confronted him in a fiery post on X.

“Lindsey Graham is a liar,” Carlson wrote.

“No one lobbied harder against JD Vance than he did, and in the sleaziest, most vicious way. He was doing it this morning,” Carlson added.

“This is why everyone hates Washington, because people like Lindsey Graham are happy to lie right to your face, smiling as they plot your destruction. It’s disgusting,” Carlson’s post concluded.

Carlson’s blistering truth bomb reverberated on X where many others also had almost visceral reactions to Graham’s endorsement.

On “The Tucker Carlson Show” Monday, Carlson reacted to news that a Florida judge dismissed the classified documents case against Trump, citing the unlawful appointment of special counsel Jack Smith.

Reading the breaking news and then referring to the events of the last few days, as Trump came within millimeters of losing his life to a would-be assassin, Carlson remarked at the stunning alignment of circumstances.

“It seems like everything has aligned in like the period of three days to make it very obvious that Donald Trump is going to be the next president. There’s no doubt about it, at this point,” he said.

“I feel like we’re in the middle of history.”
