Trump announces date for major sit-down interview with Elon Musk

by

Former President Donald Trump announced he will be doing a “major” interview with billionaire Elon Musk next week.

The Republican presidential nominee has made himself available for countless interviews and questions, unlike his opponent, Vice President Kamala Harris who has not had any interviews with major news outlets since she shot to the top of the Democratic ticket following President Joe Biden suspending his re-election campaign.

“ON MONDAY NIGHT I’LL BE DOING A MAJOR INTERVIEW WITH ELON MUSK — Details to follow!” Trump announced in a post on Truth Social.

The one-on-one interview with the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX will air on Monday, Aug. 12.

After saying he would not be donating to any candidates for president, Musk threw his support behind Trump after the assassination attempt on him at a Pennsylvania rally last month.

“I fully endorse President Trump and hope for his rapid recovery,” Musk wrote on X on July 13.

“I’m for electric cars. I have to be because Elon endorsed me very strongly. So I have no choice,” Trump said over the weekend, shifting his previous stance on electric vehicles.

“I’ve driven them and they are incredible, but they’re not for everybody,” the former president said at a recent Michigan rally.

Social media influencer Adin Ross gisted Trump with a Tesla Cybertruck while visiting his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida.
