MSNBC earned scathing rebukes after reporting “breaking news” by a Florida newspaper about former President Donald Trump.
Social media users torched the left-wing network and host Nicolle Wallace for promoting a “nothingburger” story as if it were a groundbreaking piece of journalism.
“In new reporting from the Miami Herald that we want to tell you about,” Wallace said, “they’ve confirmed in the last hour that former President Donald Trump’s campaign flew in a blue Gulfstream jet formerly owned by sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.”

The chartered plane was reportedly used to fly to campaign fundraisers after Trump’s own aircraft experienced technical difficulties on the way to an event in Bozeman, Montana, last week.
“The plane is currently operated by Threshold Aviation Group, a California-based charter company. The Trump campaign has stated it was unaware of the plane’s history when it was chartered through a vendor they frequently use,” Newsweek noted.
But while the race to find something – anything – to pin on Trump set off pearl-clutching leftists, there was a collective eye-roll on social media over the “breaking” news.
