When it comes to reaching younger voters in his presidential campaign, former President Donald Trump has an ace up his sleeve.
The Republican nominee has a built-in connection to Gen Z with his 18-year-old son, Barron. The youngest of the Trump children has not only recently stuck his toes into the political limelight, but he is also attracting influential friends in the younger demographic that his father’s campaign team may not be able to reach.
One of these young influencers is not even old enough to vote but 17-year-old Bo Loudon called Barron his “best friend” in a social media post and the media has taken notice.

The high school student, with a relentless passion for his presidential choice, recently declared that “Gen Z loves Trump,” referring to the generation born between 1997 and 2012.
“I wouldn’t put my biggest support to someone who thinks I am stupid, because that’s what Kamala said – that 18 to 24-year-olds are stupid,” Loudon told Fox News when asked why Gen Z would vote for Trump.
Loudon is no stranger to media and politics as his father is former Missouri state Senator John William Loudon and his mother, Gina Luodon, is a conservative media personality who also co-chaired Women for Trump 2020. She was on the Trump campaign media advisory board in 2020 as well and, until 2023, hosted “Dr. Gina Prime Time” on Real America’s Voice.

With over 200,000 followers on Instagram and 120,000 on X, Loudon, and Trump’s youngest son – and only child with former first lady Melania Trump – have forged a path to attract the younger voters to the GOP ticket. Acting as a kind of social media outreach team, Loudon and Trump are reportedly encouraging the former president to connect with content creators and influencers.
“Bo is extremely media savvy,” radio host James Golden, known to many as Bo Snerdley, said of the rising conservative influencer. “I have had several conversations with him and his grasp on the social media landscape is truly astounding.”
It’s always an honor getting a photo with my FAVORITE PRESIDENT, but this was time was different and much more special.
Trump asked how I was doing, double checked about 5 times if I got a photo, made sure everyone knew that I’m best friends with his son Barron, and told them… pic.twitter.com/WTRf7BZ5id

Barron Trump, who just graduated high school and got an amazing standing ovation at a campaign rally in July, has been working with Bo Loudon to introduce the former president to online stars and personalities. Earlier this month, they lined up an interview with popular 23-year-old Gen Z streamer Adin Ross at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach, Florida in an online event that “set an all time record” according to the GOP nominee, at one point pulling in over half a million viewers.
The teens have reportedly urged Trump to connect with YouTuber turned boxer Jake Paul, billionaire business mogul and podcast host Patrick Bet-David, and others.

“Trump rates the boys and sees their input as an asset,” an “insider” told the Daily Mail. “He has no issues turning to them for advice on a subject that many of his middle-aged campaign aides wouldn’t have much of a clue about.”
“The Loudons live in South Florida and are well-connected members of Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s Palm Beach residence, where sources say Bo and Barron often slip away to have fun while the adults enjoy swish functions,” the outlet noted. “The ‘inseparable’ pals hang at the beach and private pool but are said to eschew typical teen pursuits like sports and concerts in favor of weighty debates on business and politics.”
Loudon’s social media feed is filled with pro-Trump content and pictures of many familiar faces including Donald Trump Jr., Tucker Carlson, and UFC mogul Dana White. One TikTok montage shows the teen with a collection of young influencers and stars with the caption: “The FAKE NEWS Claims Celebrities Don’t Support Trump…”

“Bo is determined to win more of Gen Z for Trump. He even got in trouble once at school for wearing so much Trump gear,” the source said of Loudon who is starting his senior year in high school. “The boys are business minded, they’re patriots. But they are also normal, good kids who are finding their way.”
