‘Anti-White minstrel act’: Tim Walz ‘mocks white people’ in cringe ‘interview’ with Kamala Harris

by

Vice President Kamala Harris and Gov. Tim Walz triggered a wave of criticism after a staged video clip showed them discussing “white guy” food.

More than 25 days into her presidential campaign, Harris continues to get away with dodging formal interviews or press conferences. But a clip from an “interview” with Walz had the Democrat nominee laughing over his spice tolerance in tacos.

“I have white guy tacos,” Walz said in the clip before the pair sat down at what seemed to be a card table at Aretha’s Jazz Cafe in Detroit, Michigan.

“What does that mean? Like mayonnaise and tuna?” Harris incredibly asked.

“Pretty much ground beef and cheese,” the governor clarified.

“That’s okay. Do you put any flavor in it?” the vice president asked.

“uh, no,” Walz replied, causing Harris to say, “Oh, okay” as she turned away laughing.

“Um, here’s the deal,” Walz added. “No, they said to be careful and let her know this, that black pepper is the top of the spice level in Minnesota, you know?”

“I’m the first vice president, I believe, who has ever grown chili peppers,” Harris noted as Walz said, “I’m trying to expand my food knowledge.”

“You know what, we’ve got some cantaloupes. You’ll be fine,” Harris declared.

The clip sparked immediate backlash on social media where the pair were slammed for the cringey, staged and disrespectful discussion.
