Harris stuck in anti-Trump rhetoric, lacks substance to win voters

by

Elon Musk’s recent poll on 𝕏, which was open for about a day, has ended. The poll had a simple question: Who would you vote for president? Trump or Harris

Over 5.8 million people voted, and 73% chose Donald Trump.

By definition, the poll was unscientific. Of the 103 million X users in the United States, X says that party affiliation is 37 million Democrats, 32 million Republicans, and 34 million Independents. No one knows how many in each group voted. By the end of Day 3 of the Democratic National Convention, various speakers had mentioned Trump’s name in the meanest way possible 271 times. That was more times than they mentioned Biden’s name, who was forgotten after Day 1. How could someone so vilified and hated still decidedly win an online poll?

Accepting her party’s nomination and targeting Trump as the undemocratic dictator and enemy, Harris said on Thursday night, “With this election, our nation has a precious, fleeting opportunity to move past the bitterness, cynicism, and divisive battles of the past.”

It is a paradox of the highest proportions, and the media is merrily playing along. Who, Vice President Harris, has been responsible for the bitterness during the last four years? You have leaned on every lever of power in the executive branch, Congress, state, county, local governments, and the courts, to thwart Trump at every turn.

Do you want us to list the divisive and bitter things, unprecedented in American history, that you championed when in office?

E. Jean Carroll Case. New York State changed the statute of limitations for just one year so that Carroll could bring a case against Trump. Although Carroll could not even remember the year in which the supposed assault happened, a jury found Trump guilty. The jury wouldn’t find that Trump raped Carroll, so the charge was lowered to sexual assault, awarding $5 million in damages. When Trump denied ever knowing her and claimed that Carroll was lying to sell a memoir and perhaps to hurt him politically, she sued for defamation. Another jury found Trump guilty of defaming her and approved an $83.3 million award.

Did you, Kamala Harris, do anything to stop this divisive and bitter nonsense?

New York Civil Fraud Case. Judge Engoran’s verdict was New York’s most significant corporate sanction in history. Using an arcane New York law from over 70 years ago, the state’s Attorney General, Letitia James, who campaigned on targeting Trump, charged him with defrauding New York’s big banks by inflating his assets when applying for loans. Trump had repaid all of his loans with interest, and the banks, the so-called victims, lined up to testify on Trump’s behalf. The law doesn’t require a jury, leaving the judgment to two biased people, James and Engoran.

Did you, Kamala Harris, do anything to stop this divisive and bitter nonsense?

The Classified Documents Case. Both Biden and Trump were the targets of special counsel investigations regarding the handling of classified documents. However, the Hur report concluded that Biden did terrible things storing documents, which he shouldn’t have had in the first place, given that he had no authority as Vice President, but would not be charged because he was too mentally unfit to stand trial. Meanwhile, Jack Smith aggressively pursued his classified documents case against Trump, who, as president, was the ultimate authority to decide which documents merited classification. A federal district judge threw out the entire case, finding that Smith, not having been appointed as Special Counsel through Congressional channels, had no authority to prosecute the case.

Did you, Kamala Harris, do anything to stop this divisive and bitter nonsense?

Harris has been campaigning for six weeks, never veering off the Tel-e-Prompter in tightly choreographed appearances. She has never once taken unscripted questions from the press, answered questions in a press conference, or sat down for a one-on-one interview with a media person. This is a democratic leader of the Free World? And Trump is an undemocratic dictator who will exercise immense power on his return to the White House and so should be denied another term?

And what democratic principles did Harris celebrate when she accepted her nomination? She didn’t win a single vote during the four-month primary process. She assured the coup leaders—Obama, Pelosi, Schumer, Jefferies, and Schiff—that if Biden didn’t step aside, she would be willing to sign a petition under the 25th Amendment to depose Biden from power.  This is democracy?

The X poll is admittedly not scientific. It didn’t follow the laws of statistics, which tell us that a sample drawn at perfect random from a population can accurately reflect the entire population’s behavior. The X poll did not differentiate between registered voters or likely voters. Respondents may not even have been eligible to vote. The X poll did not adjust for oversampling or undersampling of various demographics.

Still, a 73-27 Trump win is remarkably impressive. It shows that for millions of potential voters, the Harris message, amplified by the media, is not sticking. It is a stark reminder that one can’t win a campaign by solely pointing out how bad the other candidate is. You have to prove worthy, too.

Trump’s character is so well documented that many people know him better than their relatives. But Kamala Harris is still relatively unknown. And what little is known is not appealing to the average voter.

Harris scaled the pinnacle of political power by exploiting her bi-racial identity. She exploited her position as Vice President to help force Biden out. She is known to be an uber-demanding boss, causing a majority of her staffers to quit rather than work for her. Staff leaks about how disoriented and disorganized her 2020 campaign was led to Harris withdrawing from the nomination contest before a single vote was cast. At the time, she was polling at 1%.

On policy, Harris, as the border czar in the Biden-Harris administration, has failed so miserably that she is single-handedly responsible for changing America’s landscape for the worse. She was the tie-breaking vote multiple times to usher in even more deficit spending and thus is accountable for America’s cruel inflation that has bankrupted millions of families. Her stewardship of America abroad has been disastrous—Ukraine is losing territory, Israel faces attacks from Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis, while Iran is rattling sabers. Meanwhile, China, Russia, and North Korea are strengthening their partnership.

On her own policies, were she to be elected president, Harris has already proposed a $1.7 trillion program towards subsidizing home ownership when the U.S. is already facing a $35 trillion debt load and struggling with inflation. She wants to increase the corporate income tax from 21% to 28%. And she wants to impose taxes on unrealized capital gains from wealthy individuals – never before tested in the courts. Numerous other policies of hers are unknown because they have never been reported in the press.

Americans seek to elect genuinely accomplished leaders to the White House. Harris can’t rely solely on an anti-Trump message to secure the presidency, nor can she win the general election the way she won the nomination.
