Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi thinks she knows Donald Trump.
And the 84-year-old Democrat suggested to a liberal audience at the Texas Tribune Festival that the former president may not even “show up” in the scheduled debate against Vice President Kamala Harris because he’s a coward.
Pelosi focused on her favorite topic, bashing Trump, during the event as she spoke with journalist Kara Swisher who asked the former speaker what advice she had for the Republican presidential nominee for the ABC News-hosted debate on September 10.
“You think he’s gonna show up?” Pelosi replied.
“Do you know something I don’t know?” Swisher asked, sparking laughter and applause from the crowd when Pelosi shrugged, smiling.

Swisher: “I do. Do you know something I don’t know?”

“I know cowardice when I see it,” the pompous Democrat declared.
Swisher asked Pelosi about former Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney calling Trump a “misogynist pig” during a previous Texas Tribune Festival.
“Isn’t she wonderful?” Pelosi said.
The congresswoman, who represents California’s 11th congressional district including most of San Francisco, has been a member of the House since 1987. She claimed that “Speaker” is still her title though “Speaker Emerita” is her current position.
Trump’s campaign blasted the Democrat for attempting to spread “fake news.”
“Nancy Pelosi has no idea what she is talking about and has been proven to be a liar and fraud. If she isn’t busy giving herself fake titles to make herself feel better, she’s peddling fake news because it’s the only thing she’s ever done,” Trump spokesperson Steven Cheung told Fox News Digital.
