Fears about Trump’s would be assassin swirl: ‘He’s gonna get EPSTEINED in jail to keep his mouth shut’

With the arrest of a suspect in the second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, many are expressing doubts about investigators getting any information out of him.

Officials confirmed that the gunman targeted Trump and was about 300 to 500 yards away at the perimeter of the golf course where the Republican nominee was playing on Sunday. The man arrested was identified as Ryan Wesley Routh and immediately speculation began about his motive and any other information, including social media posts he may have written.

Though his social media accounts appear to have been taken down, questions circulated and soon, users wondered if the FBI and other investigators would be able to ask the would-be assassin questions that would shed light on his attempt on the former president’s life.

“He’s gonna get Epsteined in jail to keep his mouth shut,” one X user wrote in a sentiment that soon was echoed on the platform.

“President Trump’s round of golf was NOT on any public schedule,” Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk noted on X. “How did the suspect know Trump was golfing there today? How did he get a semi-automatic rifle so close to the president?”

As connections were being made by the media and social media users about Routh’s background, connections, and political ideology, the theory of his dying while in custody spread online.
