Kamala eyes comeback, could already have famous opponent: ‘I would destroy her’

by

Defeated Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris has been laying low since the election but many have been speculating what her next move will be.

One idea being floated is that the vice president could run for governor of her home state of California as current Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom is term-limited and will need to be replaced in 2026. But if Harris has been mulling the idea as is being reported, she already has competition.

“If I ran, and it was ultimately against Harris, I would destroy her,”  transgender celebrity Caitlyn Jenner wrote in a post on X.

The Trump-supporting Republican and former Olympian known as Bruce Jenner had a failed attempt at securing the governor’s seat in 2021 after running in the recall election against Newsom.

Following Donald Trump’s election victory, Jenner posted a photo with the president-elect, Trump’s granddaughter Kai and billionaire Elon Musk.

“Hope is back in America. These two men will single-handedly save western civilization and that starts with a strong United States of America. I am here and at your service and forever indebted to your sacrifice for this country,” Jenner wrote.

In response to one X user’s encouragement to run, Jenner wrote, “If I ran and if I won DAY ONE: CA would have a @DOGE STATE LEVEL AGENCY! Especially to clean up the homelessness industrial complex!” referring to Trump’s new Department of Government Efficiency.

“Should we do it again? Have been getting a lot of calls with a lot of strong opinions. Newscum is out in 2026,” the 75-year-old wrote in another recent post on X.

Jenner also responded to criticism of being “delusional if she thinks that the party who hates her very existence is going to elect her as the governor of California.”

“The MAGA / America First movements are not nearly as bigoted as the intolerant left. If I were to run it would be proudly as a Republican,” Jenner shot back. “We are the big tent party and movement of common sense, for ALL!”

Winning the blue state of California may be a stretch for a Republican candidate and it is not yet clear if Harris is even entertaining thoughts about making the bid.
