Republicans seem to be afraid of winning.
At least that is the sentiment of a Fox News co-host and many others who agree with him that the GOP is already undermining President-elect Donald Trump with his Cabinet picks. Will Cain, co-host of “Fox & Friends Weekend “on Fox News called out Republicans for not backing Trump’s choices but instead, are “handing him losses” by balking at some of his picks so far.
I’m curious. Help me understand something.
How does @realDonaldTrump lead Republicans (who over the previous decade had found new and inventive ways to lose) to an overwhelming win.
And the first thing they do is start denying his cabinet picks? They start handing him losses?

Democrats always fall in line with their leaders and Republicans repeatedly fail to rally behind theirs, even when American voters send a clear message that they want a change in Washington, D.C.

Cain went on to point out how GOP Sens. Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, and Mitt Romney voted in lockstep with Democrats when it came time to confirm Merrick Garland as President Joe Biden’s attorney general.
Let me get this straight. These 14 active Republican Senators voted to confirm MERRICK GARLAND for AG. But have concerns about Hegseth? Says A LOT. Wow. pic.twitter.com/Hs3AHBI8qV

Rep. Mike Collins noted how Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, who disappeared for days last year without informing his boss he was in the hospital, got 93 votes when it was time for his confirmation.
In what world should Lloyd Austin get 93 votes for confirmation, and Hegseth not get 50. Step up, Senate GOP.

All but seven Republican Senators voted to confirm Lloyd Austin but have a problem with Hegseth? I think @SenateGOP have a problem. pic.twitter.com/xSRst8uFbE

Cain defended Pete Hegseth, his former Fox News colleague, as Trump’s choice to lead the Pentagon and ripped into Republicans who refuse to accept that Americans voted for “disruptors” and demand they fall in line behind Trump.

Cain also called out GOP senators during a segment on “Fox & Friends” in which he laid out three reasons behind the refusal of some to support Trump.
🚨Watch @WillCain go off in defense of @PeteHegseth against the military industrial complex and corporate media smear campaign that Republican Senators are buying into:

Social media users joined Cain in his angry reality check of Republicans.
It’s impossible to measure the amount of disdain we have for these feckless, spineless Republicans. We have to replace all of them.

Many Republicans in power hate President Trump and his supporters. They want the old go along, get along Republican party that loses and rolls over to Democrat demands.

Because “Republicans” are the enemy disguised in friendly trappings.
We are sick of this garbage.

You are referring to them as Republicans, they are part of the Uniparty, the very swamp the President Elect promised to drain 8 years ago, if they continue on this path. He needs to start calling them out by name, and back strong primary contender in their State(s).

The republicans have been losers ever since Reagan. Trump gave them a new vision and a way to win but the old guard dies hard.
