President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden poured praise on Vice President Kamala Harris at an event that left many questioning the sincerity of their words.
The failed Democratic presidential nominee and her husband Doug Emhoff were showered with compliments at a Democratic National Committee event but social media users pointed to body language and the meaning behind the words the Bidens shared in their remarks.
“Our party chooses leaders who have integrity like Joe and Kamala, people who lead with compassion and decency, people who fight so that everyone in our country can get a fair shot,” Jill BIden said.
“Kamala you answered your mother’s question, becoming the first woman ever to serve as vice president, being Joe’s true and trusted partner,” she said.
Biden and Harris hugging sent social media off.
“Even when they try to act friendly in public, you can tell there is a ton of tension between Jill Biden and Kamala,” one X user commented.
“Kamala tried making eye contact with Jillafter te hug, Jill was having none of it lol,” wrote another.

“Jill Biden will only hug Kamala again to stab her in the back. These 2 women loathe each other,” claimed one X user.
Especially when one throws the other under the bus. Jill Biden will only hug Kamala again to stab her in the back. These 2 women loathe each other.

Many pointed out the “tone-deaf” remarks about how Democrats “choose” leaders with integrity.
“Jill Biden claims the Democrats ‘choose’ leaders with integrity—yet Kamala Harris gets pushed to the top with zero qualifications, and Joe Biden’s promise not to pardon Hunter seems about as solid as his campaign promises,” one X user wrote. “If integrity means constant cover-ups and lies, the Bidens are surely the gold medalists.”
The president also weighed in with some words of praise, telling Harris she was “not going anywhere.”
“She always served this country with purpose and integrity, and she always will,’ he said. “And you’re not going anywhere, kid — because we’re not going to let you go,” he said.
Well that’s the kiss of death to her future in politics, if she ever had one.

“I’ll say something about Jill Biden, something that probably most of you know, she’s a tough cookie that cares so deeply,” Harris said when she got her chance at the podium. “Jill, it’s been an extraordinary experience to work with you and our friendship is life long as you know, and I love you, thank you.”
