Ivanka and Usha’s custom Oscar de la Renta gowns spark liberal meltdown

by

President-elect Donald Trump has not yet been sworn in but already the leftists are re-enacting their meltdowns from his first term against his family.

Trump’s eldest daughter Ivanka Trump was the target of the left’s hysteria as her stunning wardrobe choice for events on Sunday sparked a call to boycott the designer fashion house of Oscar de la Renta. Throwing more gasoline into the fire, incoming Second Lady Usha Vance also wore a de la Renta gown to pre-inauguration events.

On Sunday at a candlelight dinner at the National Building Museum in Washington D.C., Ivanka Trump wore what was described as “a custom off-shoulder crystal and pearl floral-embroidered empire waist gown with silver stole.”

“She wore it Sunday night to a candlelight dinner at the National Building Museum in Washington D.C., where she was seen rubbing shoulders with Elon Musk and Amazon founder Jeff Bezos,” the outlet reported. “At one point, cameras caught the president-elect’s daughter hugging Lauren Sanchez, Bezos’ fiancée”

The 43-year-old mother of three called it an “unforgettable evening” in her social media post.

The wife of incoming Vice President J.D. Vance also wore a “custom noir velvet gown with asymmetric floral accents and a sweetheart neckline.”

Earlier Sunday, Ivanka Trump wore a camel color Oscar de la Renta cashmere coat with floral appliqués as she and other members of the Trump entourage attended a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery.

She could be seen wearing the same ensemble in a family photo behind her beaming father,

Bringing fashion and class back to D.C. was too much for the haters, however, and it took little time before rumblings of a boycott spread on social media.

“Dressing fascists I see….,” wrote one Instagram user on the designer’s page.

“Absolutely disgraceful,” wrote another, adding several thumbs-down emojis.

“Oh Im unfollowing this nonsense,” another wrote.

However, the majority of those on the Instagram and X pages called the fashion “stunning” and a “work of art,” as they called out the critics.

“Isn’t it time to stop the hate and move forward. Her dress is exquisite and she looks amazing. Oscar is the ultimate designer,” noted one Instagram user.

“Look at all the hating liberals that are so angry at a successful, beautiful woman. It’s so disgusting but so expected of you. Liberals are everything they claim to despise,” wrote another.
