HUGE: Trump orders team to identify, punish and deport pro-jihadist protesters – including students on visas

by

Foreign students in the U.S. on visas may face deportation if they participated in anti-Jewish activity on campuses thanks to a new order expected from President Donald Trump.

In a crackdown on antisemitism, the president is expected to take executive actions Wednesday that would identify and potentially deport foreign students who took part in pro-Hamas protests on college campuses.

Trump said he would instruct the Department of Justice to “aggressively prosecute terroristic threats, arson, vandalism and violence against American Jews,” as he sets scrutiny on students with visas and other resident aliens who violated the law following the October 7, 2023 attacks in Israel, according to the Daily Mail.

“To all the resident aliens who joined in the pro-jihadist protests, we put you on notice…we will find you, and we will deport you,” the president noted. “I will also quickly cancel the student visas of all Hamas sympathizers on college campuses, which have been infested with radicalism like never before.”

According to Bloomberg:

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Trump on Wednesday would sign the actions, which were detailed in fact sheets seen by Bloomberg News and provided by people familiar with the president’s plans on condition of anonymity. Trump campaigned on reshaping the Department of Education and cracking down on what conservatives bemoan as a left-leaning political climate in schools.

The order on antisemitism targets protesters who violated laws during demonstrations following Hamas’s Oct. 7, 2023 attack on Israel, directing federal agencies to review and report within 60 days on all criminal and civil authorities and actions available for combating antisemitism, including on college campuses, according to a White House fact sheet on the order.

The Justice Department will act “to quell pro-Hamas vandalism and intimidation, and investigate and punish anti-Jewish racism in leftist, anti-American colleges and universities.” This will reportedly include removing “resident aliens who violate our laws.”

The president signed an executive order last week that directed the deportation of foreign visa holders who “advocate for, aid, or support designated foreign terrorists and other threats to our national security.”

A House Republican report last month called out the Biden administration for “systemic” and “astounding” flaws in addressing antisemitisim at university campuses.

“Across the nation, Jewish Americans have been harassed, assaulted, intimidated, and subjected to hostile environments — violations that stand in stark contrast to America’s fundamental values, including a foundational commitment to religious freedom for all,” the report said.“The failure of our federal government departments and agencies is astounding.”

“Universities that fail to fulfill the obligations upon which their federal funding is predicated or whose actions make clear they are unfit stewards of taxpayer
dollars should be treated accordingly,” the Republicans noted.

President Joe Boden and his administration failed to take any actions following the report.
