Actress and singer Sheryl Crow performed the ultimate virtue signal, and it’s getting her roasted on social media.
Crow posted a video of her waving goodbye to her Tesla as it is being towed away, revealing that she is donating all proceeds from the sale of her electric vehicle to NPR. which she claims is “under threat by President [Elon] Musk.”

“My parents always said… you are who you hang out with. There comes a time when you have to decide who you are willing to align with. So long Tesla,” she wrote in her Instagram caption. “Money donated to [NPR], which is under threat by President Musk, in hopes that the truth will continue to find its way to those willing to know the truth.”
Crow is the latest in a wave of left-wing EV owners who are swearing off Tesla over Musk’s alignment with President Donald Trump.
This resulted in some rather vicious mockery on X, the social media platform owned by Musk:

She dated Lance Armstrong for 3 years. A real woman of principle.

Seems like an argument against Congress requiring taxpayers to subsidize NPR.
