“It was four years ago today…” begin many of the tribute posts and comments Monday remembering the great Rush Limbaugh.
Among the heartfelt thoughts was a post from our own DBS site owner and longtime producer of The Rush Limbaugh Show, James Golden. The syndicated radio host known to his many fans as Bo Snerdley remembered his longtime friend in a post on Monday, marking the passing of the talk radio titan who died on February 17, 2021, at the age of 70.
“It was four years ago today that Rush made his transition from this world and returned his special ‘talent’ which was on loan,” Snerdley wrote.

Everyday – he is still remembered by so many here – and many of the things he spoke about and advocated for are unfolding.
He is missed. And…— Bo Snerdley (@BoSnerdley) February 17, 2025
“Everyday – he is still remembered by so many here – and many of the things he spoke about and advocated for are unfolding,” Snerdley continued. “He is missed. And remembered!”
Indeed, the comments to his post and many other social media reactions reinforced Snerdley’s sentiment and thanked him for his years with Limbaugh as he scoured news stories that would find their way into the “Stacks of Stuff.” The host of The Rush Hour with James Golden and The James Golden Show carries on the tradition with his own daily “stack of stuff” on The Daily B.S. and continues to hold a special kind of relationship with the legion of Limbaugh fans.
Thank you Mr. Snerdley for carrying the torch!

Thank you, James. Today’s conservative movement owes much to him. I would argue that he shaped the current “democratized” media environment, as successful long-form podcasts like Rogan, Rubin, many more are outgrowths of his daily three hours on EIB.

“I’m of course gratified by anyone who chooses to remember Rush for the incredible human being that he was,” Golden told Fox News after his book “Rush on the Radio,” was published. “He was a man like no other that I have met.”
With the return of President Donald Trump to the White House, and amid the many political debacles of the past four years under the Biden administration, many Limbaugh fans remarked on what the influential conservative had predicted and what he would think of the current state of the nation.
Rush would be so thrilled how things have changed after what happened over the last four years. Happy Presidents Day Rush. Rest in Peace & God Bless America! 🙏🇺🇸🙏🗽🙏🇺🇸

Rush would have enjoyed every second of what’s happening in DC right now! And he would be presenting it to us in a hilarious manner!

Rush is smiling from Heaven, happy with the way things are going. He was sounding the bell decades ago, waiting for this to happen. I still remember his “strong man” monologue – all along that was DJT!

Rush was a major impetus in turning this country back to it’s founding. And, it’s showing it’s fruit now.

Always loved. Always missed. He was my road trip companion for years. I remember my first trip after he passed. I reached for the radio at noon to find he was not there. I drove in silence for a while to honor him. He would love what we’re seeing now. 💕
