CNN is under fire for allegedly creating an audio recording of the Signal chat message that has consumed critics of President Donald Trump for days.
The AI-generated audio of text messages that were part of the sensitive government group chat is making waves on social media, where users expressed shock and anger over the move.
You want to know how thirsty the legacy media is for a Trump controversy? CNN just created an AI audio recording of the Signal group chat.

The left has continued to drum up outrage over the topic even after Trump administration officials emphasized that no “war plans” or classified information were shared in the Signal group chat that included Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and U.S. national security advisor Mike Waltz who accidentally added a journalist to the list.
The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg published the story Monday, claiming he was added to the group messages that included administration officials and prompting calls for Walz and Hegseth to resign or be fired. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt roasted The Atlantic for “another hoax” after it updated its narrative.
“The Atlantic has conceded: these were NOT ‘war plans,’” Leavitt wrote in a post on X.. “This entire story was another hoax written by a Trump-hater who is well-known for his sensationalist spin.”
Though Goldberg was indeed added to the Signal chat, the sensationalized report – like many others from the publication and other Trump-haters – was just fake news. But as everyone else moved on, CNN kept the story alive with its audio creation.
This is incredibly deceptive, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they were sued over this.
I realize they have ‘AI-Generated Audio’ at the top, but still. This is SUPER shady.— The Conservative Alternative (@OldeWorldOrder) March 27, 2025
Does this surprise me? No

Thirsty or desperate? Wow.

May I just remind everyone that CNN has spent 1000x more time on covering this text thread…
…than they did covering Western North Carolina for months after Hurricane Helene
It’s insane. I cannot stand CNN.

They’re trying to get so much mileage out of this

LOL, seriously? When the narrative’s flopping so hard they’re like, ‘Quick, roll out the AI audio!’ 😂 Nothing screams ‘trust us’ like a robot voice trying to sell you the story. Maybe just try being real with people instead—wild idea, I know!
