President Donald Trump got an earful from unhappy supporters after he endorsed a GOP senator’s re-election bid.
The president sparked a wave of outrage after posting on Truth Social that Truth Social post that Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., has his “Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election.”
Trump declared that the South Carolina Republican “WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN,” but many begged to differ.

Retired Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn made it very clear he was not on the same page with the president.
“Not someone I can get behind. I’ll go to the gates with you but I won’t take one step forward with him,” the former national security advisor during Trump’s first term responded.
“I don’t begrudge anyone for an endorsement, but Senator Graham is objectively the ideological twin of Liz Cheney,” Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky.., said in a statement.to Fox News Digital.
Graham, who is up for re-election in 2026, thanked the president for the endorsement in a message posted on X.
“President Trump’s endorsement means the world to me. I am humbled by his faith in me as a Senator and as a friend,” he wrote. “On a personal level, I genuinely enjoy our friendship. He’s an awesome golfing buddy, who I have yet to beat.”

“I look forward to being one of the driving forces in the U.S. Senate to enact President Trump’s agenda to make America more prosperous and more secure,” added Graham, who golfed with Trump and Finnish President Alexander Stubb over the weekend.
