President Donald Trump’s Middle East diplomatic tour is rubbing some of his supporters the wrong way.
Fox News host Mark Levin expressed his disapproval of Saudi Arabia and Qatar in a social media post that did not mention the president by name, but seemed connected to the overseas trip, as he cited 9/11.
Levin called out Saudi Arabia for playing a “significant role on the 9/11 slaughter of our people” in a post on X following Trump’s visit with the Saudi Royal family. The president was welcomed on the tarmac by the crown prince and came out to “God Bless the USA” before addressing a US-Saudi investment forum in Riyadh.
“I didn’t hear their Crown Prince even apologize once yesterday for what they did to us. And I know the 9/11 families are reeling from this,” Levin wrote in his post on Wednesday.
Saudi Arabia played a significant role on the 9/11 slaughter of our people. I didn’t hear their Crown Prince even apologize once yesterday for what they did to us. And I know the 9/11 families are reeling from this.

Levin also targeted Qatar in his criticism, for having “protected the leader of the 9/11 attack from the FBI, before he was able to launch his war on America that killed our people. The debate about whether the plane is a legal gift is beside the point. Qatar is a terrorist regime that has murdered Americans.”
“I cannot let bygones be bygones and those Americans who suffered the consequences of what these monarchies did cannot either. I can’t stop thinking about all the innocent people who went to work that day, and were on those planes, and all the firefighters and police officers who died horrible deaths,” he continued, recounting the horrors of the September 11, 2001, terror attacks.
“As for Iran, if they get a nuclear weapon that’s on our generation. And our country will suffer the horrible consequences,” Levin added. “These are terrorists. They don’t think like us and they don’t love life like us. We must have the guts and wisdom to protect ourselves.”
Many social media users reacted by telling Levin that he may have a “valid point,” but that Trump is trying to forge ahead with “a new future with commerce over terrorism.”
This is like holding current Presidents accountable for past presidents decisions. I don’t feel we can do that. I agree with Trump. There are no forever enemies. Why have enemies when we can have friends, partners? Or at least neutralalities? 911 was horrific! It reshaped our…

Yes, Mark, you have a very valid point, but remember what Japan did at Pearl Harbor, not to mention the atrocities of all the Axis powers. In relative terms, that wasn’t all that long ago. At some point we move on.

This was 25 years ago, Mark. President Trump has 1 mission over here to get the world in peace. Obviously he’s not a sponsor of terrorism and nor does he want them to be sponsors of terrorism. He’s doing genius moves. May God be by his side every moment.

I’m looking forward to a new future with commerce over terrorism. The Middle East living their best lives is the world that is safe.

At some point we have to move on. Remember what Japan did to us. Remember what Germany did. It’s called history for a reason and we need to move forward with a focus on building better relationships. That’s what we’re trying to do. Never forget, but we have to move forward. 🇺🇸🫡
