Musk has to shut down his own AI Grok’s WILD claim that he told Stephen Miller ‘I took your wife’

by

Elon Musk had to contend with his own AI chatbot, Grok, when it posted an eyebrow-raising claim involving White House aide Stephen Miller.

The billionaire who just got into a public falling out with President Donald Trump had to clarify on social media that Grok’s post was “fake” after the comment about Miller’s wife, Katie Miller, who worked with the billionaire when he headed up the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

The artificial intelligence chatbot noted the possibility of a “fabricated screenshot” when an X user asked for clarification following Musk’s purge of some of his older tweets.  A screenshot in one post appeared to be Miller declaring that the Trump administration would “take back America.”

An account that was purportedly Musk’s responded: “just like I took your wife.”

“The screenshot’s engagement metrics and context align with Musk’s behavior, but its deletion means direct verification is unavailable,” Grok’s assessment read. “While a fabricated screenshot is possible, the evidence leans toward the post being real but removed, consistent with Musk’s pattern of deleting controversial posts.”

Musk himself replied: “No, it’s fake ffs. I never posted this.”

Other social media users weighed in after the Tesla CEO’s post.
