In a move to expose the Left’s political games, House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) announced a strategic shutdown of House business this week. He accused Democrats and their allies of weaponizing the “Epstein Files” for partisan gain.
Johnson declared the House would head into its summer recess early, effectively halting a dubious resolution pushed by the Left to “force” more documents related to Jeffrey Epstein into the public eye.
President Donald Trump, has faced calls from vocal MAGA supporters to unleash the Epstein Files. Yet, he cautions against the client list being a “hoax,” even as former Attorney General Pam Bondi made reference to one in February. Epstein died of apparent suicide in 2019 while being charged with sex trafficking, a detail that continues to raise questions for many Americans.
“We’re not going to play political games with [Epstein],” Johnson told the press on Tuesday, sending a clear message to those trying to exploit this tragedy for their own ends.
He even called out some Republicans for “biting” their own, urging unity against the real enemy – the radical Left’s agenda.
“I’m not quite certain what his strategy is,” Johnson stated, emphasizing the need to give the administration “space” to determine what “credible” information can be released. Johnson also claimed some documents are being held back in the interest of protecting victims, a responsible approach to a sensitive issue.
“There’s no daylight between the White House and the House. You have to allow the legislation to ripen and you also have to allow the administration the space to do what it is doing,” he affirmed, signaling a united front against the swamp.
Johnson’s comments follow a recent appearance on The Benny Show with conservative firebrand Benny Johnson, where the Speaker called for “everything” to be released.
“We should put everything out there and let the people decide,” he said. “I agree with the sentiment that we need to — we need to put it out there.”
Johnson claimed on Tuesday that the administration is already in the “process” of releasing everything they can, making the Left’s demands nothing more than unnecessary grandstanding.
“There’s no purpose for Congress to push an administration to do something that they’re already doing,” he concluded.
And let’s not forget President Trump’s statement on Saturday: he wants “all grand jury” testimony related to Epstein to be released, provided the courts approve. He once again lashed out at those claiming information is being hidden, exposing their true motives.
“With that being said, and even if the Court gave its full and unwavering approval, nothing will be good enough for the troublemakers and radical left lunatics making the request. It will always be more, more, more. MAGA!” he wrote on Truth Social, a rallying cry for patriots.
Meanwhile, conservative firebrand Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is taking aim at Speaker Johnson and slamming her own party for its inability to pass a budget despite its control of the government on Tuesday.
Greene was on her way to a conference meeting to discuss a possible vote on a continuing resolution in September. If passed, the CR would, as the name implies, continue pre-existing funding while Congress works to push through new appropriations bills – a tactic that avoids real fiscal responsibility.
Calling it an “absolute failure” on the part of the party, Greene told reporters she would oppose another CR vote in September, drawing a clear line in the sand for fiscal sanity.
“Yes, I put it out on my social media,” she declared. “I’m not voting for September 30 CR. That is not what this majority should be about. Under Speaker [Mike Johnson’s] leadership, we have had to vote on CR after CR after CR. I’ve only voted on one because President [Donald Trump] asked me to. That was earlier this year; but we have had the entire year to get our appropriations done and actually do our budget, our government funding. And it is an absolute failure to ask us to vote on a September 30 CR, and I’m not doing it.”
“And if anyone doubts that I will hold my vote, then they need to look at the fact that I was the only Republican that was a no vote on the rule last week; and I voted no on the Genius Act because it opened a backdoor to a central bank digital currency. This is a fight for our financial freedom against globalist control! It’s up to Speaker Johnson to get our appropriations done and that’s what this conference meeting needs to be about; and the American people deserve that.”

Sorry, but Bondi said she had names, and that was before the one she said she was talking about the files on her desk. Another government person said the names on the flight logs would shock people. Well where are they? I think both parties are scared because big donors and some of them are on that list. This list covers many from many countries!
If Maxwell is in jail for grooming under age girls, then who was she grooming them for? It wasn’t just Epstein! This is all BS! Trump has totally failed on this! The powerful are pulling the strings to hide their pedophilia!
I am very disappointed. No matter what changes, things remain the same.
