Tulsi Gabbard didn’t hold back Tuesday, firing a blistering response at Barack Obama after the former president broke his usual silence with a statement attacking President Trump’s claims that Obama orchestrated the Russia hoax.
Obama’s office, in a rare move, issued a statement pushing back against Trump’s assertion that Obama was the “ringleader” of the Russia collusion sham.
A declassified presidential briefing from December 2016 reveals that Barack Obama was fully aware the Trump-Russia collusion narrative was a complete fabrication.
Evidence suggests Obama knew it was a hoax and was personally involved in manipulating intelligence for political gain, creating the fake Trump-Russia collusion story.
President Trump didn’t mince words Tuesday, calling Obama’s actions treasonous.
“Barack Hussein Obama is the ringleader. Hillary Clinton was right there with him and so was Sleepy Joe Biden… and so were the rest of them. Comey, Clapper, the whole group,” Trump declared during remarks in the Oval Office.
“This was treason…they tried to steal the election…” Trump added, highlighting the deep state’s efforts to undermine the 2016 election.
Obama’s spokesperson put out a carefully crafted statement, attempting to dismiss Trump’s accusations.
“Out of respect for the office of the presidency, our office does not normally dignify the constant nonsense and misinformation flowing out of this White House with a response. But these claims are outrageous enough to merit one. These bizarre allegations are ridiculous and a weak attempt at distraction,” Obama’s office stated.
“Nothing in the document issued last week undercuts the widely accepted conclusion that Russia worked to influence the 2016 presidential election but did not successfully manipulate any votes. These findings were affirmed in a 2020 report by the bipartisan Senate Intelligence Committee, led by then-Chairman Marco Rubio.”
Tulsi took the fight directly to Obama during a fiery appearance on Fox News.
Later Tuesday, Tulsi appeared on NewsMax, promising to drop more bombshell documents the next day that would definitively debunk Obama’s statement.
“We will be releasing further documents tomorrow that will refute that statement,” Tulsi vowed.
“We will be pulling a whole host of statements made by the Obama administration…that state over and over again, after this Jan. 2017 manufactured intel document was created, that repeat the narrative…Russian hackers worked to aid Trump in the election,” she explained, exposing the coordinated effort to smear Trump.
