Trump reacts to ‘Crockett-Biden 2028’ ticket… paging Jerry Springer!

by

WASHINGTON, D.C. President Donald Trump had a field day reacting to the idea of a Hunter Biden–Jasmine Crockett presidential ticket in 2028, dismissing it as both ridiculous and, perhaps, strangely plausible, in the latest episode of Pod Force One released this week.

During a lively exchange with New York Post columnist Miranda Devine, Trump laughed off the possibility of such a pairing but didn’t rule out the Democratic Party entertaining the idea. “That would be some ticket. No, these people are crazy, so you never know what’s going to happen,” he said, amused by the hypothetical scenario floated by Devine.

The conversation stemmed from recent headlines involving both Crockett and Hunter Biden. Trump was responding to Hunter’s series of high-profile media appearances last week, where the president’s son came out swinging against fellow Democrats who, in his view, abandoned his father during the 2024 election debacle.

In interviews, Hunter blamed the Democratic Party’s loss on their decision to pivot away from President Biden following his disastrous debate performance against Trump on June 27, 2024. Hunter alleged that his father’s widely criticized debate showing was the result of him taking Ambien—without a prescription—a claim that has sparked intense scrutiny and raised ethical and legal questions.

“They had two chances to win the election,” Trump said of the Democrats. “They had [Biden], and that didn’t work out — he was down by 25 points or something — and then they switched him. It’s like taking a prizefighter out in the middle of the fight. It’s not fair.” He continued, “They took him out, they put Kamala [Harris] in. Nobody knew who Kamala was. I guess they say she’s going to try it again [in 2028], and I don’t see it.”

Jasmine Crockett: The Rising Star

Trump didn’t hold back in offering his opinion of Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas), who has become a prominent voice in defense of President Biden. Calling her “a low-IQ person,” Trump mocked the idea that she could emerge as a leading Democratic contender in 2028 — a jab that prompted Devine to jokingly suggest a Hunter-Crockett presidential ticket.

Crockett, 44, has drawn national attention in recent months not only for her fiery defense of Biden but also for her outspoken presence in the media. In a June episode of Katie Couric’s podcast Next Question, Crockett described Biden as mentally sharp, asserting, “His mental acuity is supreme when it comes to comparing him to Donald Trump.” She added, “The way that I would describe Joe is like, I mean, he’s a granddaddy, right?”

An Atlantic profile also spotlighted the rising congresswoman, noting her unique persona and the fact that she uses a photo of herself as her phone’s lock screen — a detail that drew both admiration and bemusement from readers.

Hunter Biden: Crackhead in Chief?

Meanwhile, Hunter Biden’s re-emergence into the political discourse has raised eyebrows across the spectrum. Podcasting juggernaut Joe Rogan commented on Hunter’s recent interviews, suggesting that the younger Biden “could be president” one day, as he came off “smarter than his dad.”

Though Rogan’s comments were likely tongue-in-cheek, they reflect a growing trend in political circles where public figures without traditional political résumés are increasingly considered viable candidates — a phenomenon Trump himself embodies.
