Don Lemon marches with dude in giraffe costume and interviews vet in extremely vulgar t-shirt

by

Former CNN anchor and current podcast host Don Lemon hit the streets of Washington, D.C., to cover a protest aimed squarely at President Donald Trump. During a Tuesday edition of The Don Lemon Show, Lemon interviewed a self-proclaimed veteran wearing a profane anti-Trump t-shirt, while a man dressed in a giraffe costume wandered in the background—an apt metaphor, perhaps, for the confusion and chaos that defined the event.

The protest, dubbed “Remove the Regime,” was organized by two far-left activist groups: For Liberation And Resistance Everywhere (FLARE) and the so-called Removal Coalition. The event attracted the usual array of anti-Trump agitators, conspiracy theorists, and attention-seekers, marching from Union Station to the Capitol before staging another protest outside the White House.

Among the headliners was Democratic Congressman Al Green (D-TX), a longtime critic of President Trump and a supporter of his repeated and failed impeachment efforts. Green’s participation further underscored the protest’s partisan nature and the increasing willingness of Democratic officials to align themselves with fringe, activist movements.

During the live podcast, Lemon spoke with a demonstrator named Louis Bracy—who made sure to showcase his “F—K TRUMP and F-you for voting for him” shirt prominently on camera. Bracy, identifying himself as a veteran, didn’t hold back his disdain for the president.

“Donald Trump is the most existential threat to America that there’s ever been,” Bracy claimed. “I’ve been protesting against him ever since 2016, and two years before then.”

Bracy went on to invoke historical collapse, warning that America would follow the fate of the Roman Empire if Trump were to remain in power. The rhetoric was nothing new for the anti-Trump left, but the theatrical setting—including Bracy’s profanity-laden outfit and the unexplained presence of a giraffe-suited individual—highlighted just how detached these protests have become from serious political discourse.

“America should not be a country for the greedy. It should be a country of people who are needy,” Bracy stated. “Donald Trump only serves his greedy people, his oligarchs, and people of that nature. Donald Trump does not serve the regular people, and he’s not even trying to fake it.”

Ironically, Bracy’s words came during a protest whose organizers are known for pushing radical left-wing policies that prioritize government dependency, wealth redistribution, and the dismantling of American institutions—all under the guise of “resistance.”

While Lemon offered no pushback to Bracy’s inflammatory remarks, he did thank him for his “service” and moved on, never quite explaining the giraffe costume or providing any critical perspective on the event’s messaging.
