In a moment that had fans doing a double take, iconic actor and unapologetic conservative James Woods appeared to offer a heartfelt defense of suspended late-night host Jimmy Kimmel. Known for his sharp wit and sharper tongue, Woods surprised many with a seemingly sincere tribute.
“We’ve all made jokes at Jimmy Kimmel’s expense,” Woods began. “But Mr. Kimmel is a fellow artist, and I am in fact heartbroken to see the way he has been treated. I believe he is, in his heart of hearts, a good and decent fellow, devoid of malice and hate.”
Touching, right?
Not so fast.
With impeccable timing and signature edge, Woods closed the statement with: “Just kidding, Jimbo. Eat shit.”
It’s vintage Woods—unfiltered, unapologetic, and unwilling to let Hollywood hypocrisy skate by unchallenged. And for conservatives tired of Kimmel’s constant virtue-signaling and smug moralizing, it was the kind of mic drop only Woods could deliver.
