MTG goes on CNN to spank her own Party, fawning Wolf Blitzer calls her a ‘courageous politician’

by

In a bizarre twist that must have stunned CNN’s reliably liberal audience, The Situation Room’s Wolf Blitzer couldn’t help but gush over Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) during a Thursday interview—praising her as a “courageous politician” and a “loving mother” after a fiery back-and-forth that touched on everything from Jeffrey Epstein to death threats and the silence of the political elite.

Greene, never one to mince words, didn’t hold back. She addressed her recent claim that she could be targeted—perhaps even assassinated—to prevent the release of damning information connected to Epstein’s notorious sex-trafficking ring. That comment prompted Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) to sarcastically tweet: “Why do crazy people keep thinking ‘the Jews’ are trying to kill them?”

Greene fired back with characteristic clarity: “That was an extremely ridiculous thing for Ted Cruz to say,” she said. “I never said Jewish people. I’m not anti-Semitic. I don’t hate any people group for their identity or who they are. So that was unbelievably low for a sitting U.S. Senator to say that.”

Greene pointed out that her concerns weren’t unfounded. “I have a tremendous amount of death threats. It’s documented. I have some of the highest amount of threats as a sitting member in the House of Representatives,” she stated, adding that threats surge whenever she publicly speaks about certain sensitive issues—especially Epstein.

When CNN’s Dana Bash fill-in anchor tried to press Greene on whom exactly she believed posed a danger to her, she gave a blunt and sobering response: “Any foreign government, any people of power.” Translation: No one’s off the table when it comes to protecting the secrets tied to Epstein’s infamous client list.

Importantly, Greene’s warning came at a time when others in the MAGA movement were also sounding the alarm. Conservative voices like podcaster Theo Von have echoed the same sentiment. Von even stated, “I would never take my own life. You hear that, Israel?”—a phrase that’s become shorthand for calling out suspicious deaths in powerful political circles.

Greene doubled down on her concern about the Epstein case being buried: “This has been the most—I don’t understand why. I genuinely do not understand why there’s been any effort to hide this and prevent it from coming out.” She emphasized her direct involvement through both the Oversight Committee and a discharge petition aimed at forcing transparency.

And when asked if the GOP-led Oversight Committee was doing enough, Greene didn’t pull punches: “Actually, to tell you the truth, the Oversight investigation has the power to go much further than Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna’s resolution.” But despite that power, the committee has dragged its feet—something Greene suggested may not be accidental.

She reminded viewers what’s at stake: “This involves women who were raped, women at 14 years old who were raped. And they say there’s more people involved. I don’t know how anyone in their good conscience can be against letting that information come out.”

Greene didn’t stop with Epstein, either. Here is what she said about the Republicans part in the shutdown:

Greene’s unfiltered honesty was met with an eyebrow-raising conclusion from Blitzer, who offered more than a little fanfare for the controversial Republican: “You’re a courageous politician, but more important, a loving mother,” he told her with a grin. “Thanks very much for coming in. We hope you’ll come back here in The Situation Room.”

“I would love to. Thank you very much,” Greene replied with a smile.
