‘Is he dead yet?’ bracelets handed out to kids at farmer’s market by Democratic Party

by

The Winnebago County Democratic Party is under fire after a disturbing incident at the Oshkosh Farmers Market, where a volunteer reportedly handed a bracelet to a child that read, “Is He Dead Yet?”—a vile reference to President Donald Trump.

That’s right. According to Fox WLUK 11, local mother Katy Neubauer was stunned when one of her children came running back from the Democrat booth with what looked like a party favor—only it turned out to be a twisted political message.

“The guy behind the tent table said, ‘Hey, give this to your mom, she’s going to really want this,’” Neubauer told Fox. “We’re looking at it and it literally says ‘Is He Dead Yet?’ on the bracelet.”

Classy. Just the kind of positive messaging you’d expect at a weekend farmer’s market. And from the “party of compassion,” no less.

“It’s hate speech,” Neubauer added. “It’s literally wishing death on somebody, which isn’t appropriate in any scenario.”

Apparently, ten other marketgoers agreed and filed formal complaints. The market manager, Michelle Schmid-Schultz, confirmed the complaints and admitted the bracelet “did break market rules” that prohibit hate speech. But in true bureaucratic fashion, she said the Democratic Party booth would still be allowed back in the future. Because consequences are only for people with American flags on their front porch.

Fox 11 reached out to the Winnebago County Democratic Party for answers, but—conveniently—everyone was “on vacation for Columbus Day.” (Which, let’s be honest, many on the Left refuse to even acknowledge unless they’re using it as an excuse to dodge accountability.)

Eventually, Philip Shulman, Communications Director for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, offered the typical “oopsie” spin in a text message:

“The materials brought by a volunteer without the authorization of the Party are not in line with our values and we regret this happened.”

Sure. Because when a message so unhinged and vile somehow slips past your watch, it’s just an unauthorized freelance moment—not reflective of the culture your party cultivates.

Meanwhile, Cameron Clark, Chairman of the Winnebago County Republican Party, called the incident disturbing—especially given the recent political climate.

“We are at a time in our country where political violence is at an all-time high, and to have one of the major parties out there continuing to perpetuate it would be very sad,” Clark told Fox 11.

This incident comes just weeks after the tragic murder of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, underscoring the real-world consequences of the Left’s increasingly radical rhetoric.

Libs of TikTok caught wind of the report, blasting it out on X, where it quickly racked up over 275,000 views.

So let’s recap: A Democratic Party volunteer allegedly handed a child a death-themed bracelet targeting Trump, the booth violated rules, and the party’s only response is a shrug and a canned PR line. All while claiming to be the moral compass of American politics.

This isn’t just some one-off incident. It’s a reflection of how deep the rot goes.

Welcome to the “party of tolerance”—where death wishes come in kid-friendly sizes.
