Despite four years of public appearances, speeches, gaffes and falters, a segment of Democrats still cling to the notion that Joe Biden was “sharp as a tack.” Meanwhile, when it comes to Donald J. Trump, they’re suddenly rewriting their script—highlighting the very traits they ignored for the last administration.
While Biden boomeranged from podium to podium, daily gaffe-reels neatly captured the man in office. Reddit threads mocked the Left for pretending Biden was mentally razor-sharp. Yet when Trump is the subject of the critique, the Left acts as though velociraptors of political cunning spontaneously hatched overnight.
But the bigger story isn’t about quips. It’s about control—who was running the show. The House Oversight Committee, led by Republicans, has released a bombshell report arguing Biden’s cognitive decline was “real and visible” and that key executive actions — including pardons — may never have been personally signed by Biden himself.
“Aides didn’t even know WHO was operating the autopen to sign official documents and pardons.” — Oversight Committee press release
The report states: “While Biden struggled to perform his duties, critical decisions were made behind closed doors… Staffers admitted the President was shielded from unscripted events, major policy meetings, and medical evaluations.”
Joe Biden WAS NOT running the show.
Our new report EXPOSES how Biden’s decline was real and his aides covered it up.

And if the autopen (a mechanical signature replication device) was indeed used to issue official orders without a verifiable chain of approval, then we have to ask: did we actually have a president in the traditional sense? The committee didn’t mince words: “Unless the Biden administration can prove the president approved a given action, the committee deems those actions taken through use of the autopen as void.”
It’s absolutely plausible that many presidents delegate signature authority and use mechanical means for efficiency. Presidents from both parties have done so. But what’s shown here is the selective outrage and inconsistency—which matters. When the facts remain fixed (Biden’s visible decline, autopen questions, aides’ evasiveness) and the narrative shifts (from “he’s sharp” to “look at Trump”), the only constant is hypocrisy.
Ultimately, Republicans aren’t just demanding answers—they’re calling for accountability. If pardons and orders were processed outside the president’s awareness, then American democracy faces a structural integrity issue. The Left may continue to pretend all was fine, but the evidence and public spectacle say otherwise.
