Interviewer stuns Kamala by slamming her ‘world-class’ dodge: ‘That’s not what I asked you’

by

In a Wednesday sit-down on ABC’s 7.30, Australia’s top-tier reporter Sarah Ferguson confronted Kamala Harris with a piercing question:

“Wasn’t [Biden’s] refusal to recognize his own frailties the reason that you faced a nearly impossible task?”

That question was blasted right at the heart of Harris’s disastrous 2024 run.

Rather than address it head-on, Harris chose to talk about something else entirely. She attacked Donald Trump’s record:

“Donald Trump ran on a platform that was, in large part, I believe, misrepresenting his intentions to the American people.”

She went on, “a fair amount of MAGA voters were lied to by Trump on inflation and other issues,” blaming his “massive amounts of mis- and dis-information” for her loss.

Ferguson didn’t let the dodge slide:

“Forgive me… I want to interrupt you, because that is a world-class pivot,” she said. “But it is not the question that I asked you, which is about Joe Biden’s failure to recognize his own frailties and what that did to you. The question is about Joe Biden. Are you still reluctant to criticize the former president?”

When Harris responded by demanding specificity (“In what regard, please?”), Ferguson pressed again.

“Was it Joe Biden’s decision, his failure to recognize his own frailties in that position, that put you in the position that made it almost impossible to win that race?”

Harris replied defensively:

“I did not question Joe Biden’s capacity to be president at all … I never doubted that he had the capacity to be president of the United States.”

She then shifted slightly to admit:
“If you want to talk about whether he had the ability to endure what a race for president of the United States would require … I had concerns.”

Ferguson didn’t mince words:

“I think it’s just hard, watching the debate, to see how there could not be a problem long term with someone who can’t marshal their thoughts.”
