Nancy Pelosi never misses a chance to lecture Republicans — even when her own party is the reason Americans are still suffering. This week, Pelosi attacked House Republicans, claiming they’ve been “missing for a month while public servants work without pay, health care premiums surge and working families suffer.” According to her, it’s time for the GOP to “come back to Washington and do the job they were elected to do.”
But here’s the truth Pelosi refuses to admit: Republicans have shown up and tried to reopen the government — multiple times. It’s Democrats, including Pelosi herself, who continue voting NO on every single measure that would get federal workers paid and government services running again.
Pelosi’s statement is pure political theater — the same tired blame game we’ve come to expect from the Left. She talks about “working families suffering,” yet her own party is deliberately keeping those families hostage just to score points against conservatives and protect her own power in Washington.
If Pelosi really cared about the American people, she’d tell her caucus to stop blocking Republican proposals and finally vote to fund the government. Until then, every sanctimonious tweet she sends is nothing more than hypocrisy dressed up as compassion.
