On a recent episode of her show, Joy Reid, along with Jennifer Welch and Angie Sullivan, went full Mean Girls on two conservative women—Erika Kirk, grieving widow of Charlie Kirk, and Usha Vance, wife of Vice President JD Vance.
Reid, who has been obsessively predicting that Usha Vance’s mere existence as a brown Hindu woman will doom MAGA in 2028, has now advanced the deranged fantasy that Vance is gearing up to ditch his wife for Kirk. And she didn’t whisper it—she broadcast it with all the subtlety of a bullhorn.
“Rubbin’ on his head? Babyyyy… you in leatha pants?” Reid mocked, before launching into the fever dream: “Wouldn’t it be the most perfect MAGA fairy-tail if he finally sees the light that he needs a White Queen instead of this brown Hindu?”

The meltdown only escalated. Jennifer Welch chimed in with her own expert analysis, sneering that Kirk is “in her Tammy Faye era,” and describing what she imagines as “slap-and-tickle with Erika Kirk— the weirdest shit I’ve ever seen.”
You’d almost think these women were auditioning for a Real Housewives spinoff.
Reid, thoroughly committed to her own storyline, doubled down:
“They can’t have the successor to MAGA be the guy with the brown Hindu wife. They’re also Christian nationalists. That ain’t gonna work. That’s why he’s throwing his wife under the bus for Usha—or she’s in on it, right?”
Translation: MAGA voters who supported Trump and his Orthodox-Jewish grandchildren somehow can’t handle JD Vance having a wife who isn’t white. Sure, Joy. Whatever helps your ratings.
But let’s be real: this isn’t about morality. It’s about the Left’s obsession with turning every conservative woman into either a Jezebel or a Handmaid, depending on the day.
The left is telling on itself again—projecting racism, sexism, and religious bigotry onto the people they smear daily. And the best part? They think they’re the heroes in this story.
