Fmr. Biden Aide warns about ‘absolutely sinister’ adults in inappropriate attire at Disney parks

by

A former aide from President Joe Biden’s White House is drawing a hard line in the sand . Yemisi Egbewole is sounding the alarm over what she sees as a steady breakdown of basic standards in family-friendly spaces, taking direct aim at adults who show up to children’s theme parks dressed like they’re headed to a late-night club.

In a fiery TikTok post, Egbewole argued that somewhere along the line, common sense took a back seat to so-called “self-expression,” and now the results are playing out in places meant for kids.

“There is something absolutely sinister about an adult who actively chooses not to wear appropriate clothing in an environment that is marketed towards children, and we need to talk about it more,” she said, pulling no punches.

According to Egbewole, the problem didn’t happen overnight. She blames a cultural shift that prioritizes personal freedom above all else — even when it comes at the expense of shared norms.

“Because we have allowed people to do it in an effort to ‘not condition people’s bodies’ or ‘not have a say in how people express themselves,’ but in doing so, we have eroded rules,” she explained.

And these aren’t just written rules posted at the front gate, she argued — they’re the unwritten expectations that once held public behavior together.

“Rules that don’t have to be on a board, or in front of a building before you walk in, but rules that exist within society without having to say so,” she said, recalling her first visit to Disneyland.

What she saw there clearly didn’t sit well.

“I also don’t need to see somebody in almost chaps when I’m looking at a toddler meeting Daisy and Donald for the first time. Right?” she said, painting a jarring picture of what she believes is a growing disconnect between setting and attire.

Egbewole pushed back hard on critics who might dismiss her concerns as outdated or overly strict.

“And it’s almost like if you say it out loud, people are like, ‘What is this, the Puritan movement? The Temperance movement? Is this ‘The Crucible?’ What’s going on here? Let women be women, let people be people.’”

Her response? Not a chance.

“No! No! We have to claw back these spaces,” she insisted.

She pointed to similar concerns cropping up elsewhere — including at the Houston rodeo — where, she said, the vibe is starting to skew less family fair and more nightlife free-for-all. “I saw a conversation about the Houston rodeo and how people were like, ‘What’s going on? We’re losin’ the plot here.’ Adults are walking around, and they think it’s a club, but this is really a fairground. It’s a carnival for children,” she said.

“There are adult spaces where you can wear what you like,” she said, offering a personal example. “I went to see Cowboy Carter. I wore what I wanted. Went with a whole party bus full of people, we wore what we wanted. Do you understand the difference?”

But when kids are involved, she says, the rules change — or at least, they should. “And I’m scrolling through TikTok, and it’s people on here talking about ‘Well, y’all just gotta let people live how they want.’ No! I don’t. Not when we’re bringing kids to see Mickey and Minnie. Not when we know the rules, we as adults know the rules,” she said.

Her bottom line: adults aren’t just bystanders — they’re responsible for setting the tone. “And you know what, children do too because they notice and it’s uncomfortable,” she added.

The solution isn’t complicated — it’s about restoring a sense of shared responsibility and, in her words, reestablishing boundaries that never should have been blurred in the first place.

“We maintain societal order by rejecting the inappropriateness of people who know better. That’s it,” she concluded.

  1. What about the Cast Members??? A dude dressed up like a Fairy at the Bibbity-Bop. Dudes in drag playing female characters like Maleficent. I even had a Disney Rewards Magazine come with Princesses on the cover. Say What? 3 of them were ugly dudes!! No females available for these obviously female roles? There is ZERO need for this gratuitous bowing the alphabet mafia. Disney as a company has lost everything Walt and Roy stood for.
