Trump unloads on Fox hosts: ‘Dump Tarlov now!’

by

In a blistering broadside that lit up Monday night, President Donald Trump took aim at two familiar Fox News faces — and he didn’t hold back.

The commander-in-chief ripped into Fox News Sunday anchor Shannon Bream and The Five co-host Jessica Tarlov, accusing the network of letting left-wing talking points slide unchecked — and demanding swift action behind the scenes.

Taking to Truth Social, Trump zeroed in on Bream’s weekend sit-down with Democrat Rep. Jake Auchincloss, blasting both the substance and the lack of pushback. The president made it clear he’s had enough of what he sees as soft coverage and sloppy framing.

“Tell Shannon Bream of FoxNews that it’s not the Save Act, it’s the Save America Act, a big difference! Also, when she insists on having lightweight Democrat Congressmen, such as Jake Auchincloss, on her not very hard hitting show, she should correct them when they spew out Democrat propaganda and lies. She never does! I always close deals, unlike the Dems, and did great with China in every way, also, unlike the Dems! For Fox executives only, take Jessica Tarlov off the air. She is, from her voice, to her lies, and everything else about her, one of the worst “personalities” on television, a real loser! People cannot stand watching her. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DJT”

The legislation at the center of the spat — formally known as the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act and also referred to as the SAVE America Act — has been a major priority for Trump, who has urged Senate Republicans to pass it, even if it means scrapping the filibuster.

During the contentious interview, Auchincloss took shots at Trump’s foreign policy, claiming the president lacked a clear path to resolve tensions involving Iran — a charge Trump allies say went largely unchallenged on-air.

But the president’s frustration with Fox didn’t start there.

Just weeks earlier, during a March 26 phone appearance on The Five, Trump took a swipe at Tarlov — notably absent from that episode — accusing her of pushing misleading polling data.

“I watch Jessica, and I’m not a fan,” Trump said. “And she uses fake numbers. She’ll give, ‘Well, he’s only polling [at] 42%.’ That’s not right. Polling very high, actually. You know, polls are just like– I hate people that use fake polls because polls are just like bad journalists. You know, bad journalists, they write fake stories. Well, fake polls do damage also. But that’s the thing. I’m sure I’d like her. I’m sure she’s a lovely person.”

Monday’s verbal takedown was just the latest chapter in Trump’s rocky relationship with the two hosts. Back in 2024, he accused Bream of running what he called an “anti-MAGA” segment during an interview with his attorney. And Tarlov? She’s been on the receiving end of Trump’s criticism before — with the president previously branding her a “real loser.”
