White House fires back at ‘sick’ Mark Hamill for fantasy post of Trump dead in his grave

by

Mark Hamill — forever beloved by sci-fi fans as Luke Skywalker — got scorched by the White House Thursday after posting a grotesque AI-generated image showing President Donald Trump sprawled in a grave beneath a tombstone marked “Donald J. Trump 1946–2024.”

In a rant posted to BlueSky, the actor fantasized about Trump’s political downfall and public humiliation, writing:

“If Only – He should live long enough to witness his inevitable devastating loss in the midterms, be held accountable for his unprecedented corruption, impeached, convicted & humiliated for his countless crimes. Long enough to realize he’ll be disgraced in the history books, forevermore. #don_TheCON.”

The same crowd that spent a decade lecturing America about “dangerous rhetoric” suddenly can’t quit death fantasies when it comes to Trump. The White House wasn’t having it.

Trump’s Rapid Response team unloaded on the aging actor in a blistering response posted to X:

“.@MarkHamill is one sick individual. These Radical Left lunatics just can’t help themselves. This kind of rhetoric is exactly what has inspired three assassination attempts in two years against our President.”

And the administration has a point.

Hamill’s little social-media tantrum landed barely days after armed chaos erupted outside the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, where a gunman allegedly attempted to storm toward the ballroom where Trump and top administration officials were gathered. Authorities say the suspect was armed with firearms and knives before being stopped by Secret Service agents.

That incident marked the latest in a string of assassination scares surrounding Trump since the 2024 campaign season. But in celebrity activist land, apparently that still isn’t enough to dial down the hysteria.

Hamill has spent years morphing from all-American movie hero into one more permanently online anti-Trump scold, routinely unloading on conservatives and MAGA voters across social media. The actor has become a favorite of the progressive resistance crowd, though critics say posts like this reveal how quickly the Left’s supposed commitment to “civility” disappears when Trump is involved.

And yes, social media predictably erupted into a political sewer after Hamill’s post. Some users cheered him on, while others compared the stunt to Kathy Griffin’s infamous severed-Trump-head photo scandal that torpedoed her career.

Funny how the people forever warning America about “political violence” always seem eager to flirt with it when the target wears a red tie.
