The 83-year-old television judge recently told USA Today that America has been good to her and remains, in her view, “the greatest country in the world.”
“If you don’t like this country, go somewhere else,” Sheindlin said.
But there was considerably more to her argument than that sound bite.

Sheindlin defended a distinctly individualistic vision of America — capitalism, entrepreneurship, excellence and allowing talented people to excel. She also pushed back against the notion that equality requires everyone to produce equal outcomes, while acknowledging that there are things about the country people can legitimately want to improve.
That brought a very different reaction Friday from Sunny Hostin.
The “View” co-host zeroed in on Sheindlin’s repeated references to her own home, career and success.
“I heard a lot about ‘me,’” Hostin said, before arguing there wasn’t enough discussion of “the collective.”
“What is success if everyone else isn’t successful?”
Hostin continued by pointing to racism, classism, people struggling to afford food and families unable to adequately educate their children. She also criticized cuts involving the Department of Education.
So what began as Judge Judy’s defense of the country became something considerably more interesting than another daytime-TV argument.
It’s an old American argument over what success itself means.

Ah, Hostin is trying to distract from her lie about being a standout in a jury.
Someone should tell Hostin that “ everyone” can’t succeed! That will never happen in any society, and especially in her socialistic one!
Hostin is just another very wealthy clown who speaks of all, yet sits her own ass in wealth that isn’t given out to help others, but her own biased ass!
I’m so tired of these clowns, who sit behind gated communities, where police, or security is there instantly if needed. They have no idea what is going on in reality, which through their own biased moves, makes things worse for the masses, while they pat themselves on their rich backs for being such caring people!
An example is when her son was stopped by police, for being in a place he had no right to be, and she tried to use her “ celebrity “ status as leverage to get them to forget what happened! Hey, clown, that is black privilege! That isn’t equality, what you bitch about all day long on your rotten show!
Yes , responsibility for the poor masses, but not for you or your pampered son! That’s your “view” of equality!
