Musk and Zuckerberg
In an escalating battle between the two social media giants, Elon Musk called out Mark Zuckerberg, saying the billionaire is a “cuck.” in a Sunday tweet.
It’s been four days since Meta’s Zuckerberg launched Threads, designed as a direct rival to Musk’s Twitter. The two have been going back and forth posting on social media, threatening a cage fight, hurling personal insults and Musk threatening to sue over Threads.
“Zuck is a cuck,” Musk tweeted, in response to a Threads post from fast food chain Wendy’s official account.
Wendy’s joked that Zuckerberg “should go to space just to really make him mad lol” referencing Musk’s company SpaceX. Zuckerberg responded to the post with a laughing emoji.

Threads garnered more than 30 million users in its first day.
Since Musk acquired Twitter in October, he has made various changes to the social media platform, drawing criticism from many users.
Zuckerberg launched Threads to work in tandem with Instagram, which already has millions of users, and hopes to capitalize on disgruntled twitter users.
Musk jumped on the launch of Threads and threatened to sue Threads’ parent company, Meta Platforms, just one day after its launch.
Musk’s Twitter lawyer Alex Spiro, sent a letter to Zuckerberg, and accused the company of deliberately creating a copycat platform.
Spire said that Meta intentionally hired former Twitter employees who “had and continue to have access to Twitter’s trade secrets and other highly confidential information.”
He went on: “Twitter intends to strictly enforce its intellectual property rights, and demands that Meta take immediate steps to stop using any Twitter trade secrets or other highly confidential information.”
A Meta spokesperson responded to Spire’s letter posting on Threads, “No one on the Threads engineering team is a former Twitter employee — that’s just not a thing.”
