The NFL Thanksgiving halftime show at the Washington-Dallas game featured a crowd-pleasing performance by iconic country singer Dolly Parton who wowed the crowd with her songs and her wardrobe.

The 77-year-old star dazzled on Thanksgiving Day at the halftime show of the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game against the Washington Commanders where she appeared wearing a Cowboys cheerleading outfit at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

“Well, hello Texas! Dolly turns Dallas. You like my outfit?” she asked the cheering crowd.

The country legend sang her hits “Jolene” and “9 to 5′” at the sold-out game at AT&T Stadium and also entertained with her rendition of the Queen classics “We Are The Champions” and “We Will Rock You” during The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Kickoff Halftime Show.

Wearing a blue and white top, and mini shorts, as well as some impressive heels, Parton delivered her short but memorable performance in front of a group of Cowboys cheerleaders. Reactions were unanimous as Parton left viewers with no doubt about her talent.

Announcer Tony Romo raved about Parton in the CBS booth as he discussed the halftime show with Jim Nantz.

“She was wearing the… Cowboys cheerleading outfit,” he said “You saw that coming, didn’t you?”

“You said, “I think she’s going to go with a little cheerleading outfit tonight”, and I was like, ‘wow, pretty good,'” he added. “I mean, she looks amazing, right? She’s wonderful. Who doesn’t like Dolly Parton?”

Parton had called her partnership with the Salvation Army a “great honor” when she was announced as the halftime show performer.

“Those Red Kettles have long been a symbol of hope for our friends and neighbors who are facing hard times,” she said last month. “My goal is to encourage everyone who can to donate and support their neighbors in need. Every small act of generosity helps, and together, we can all love our neighbors this holiday season and beyond.”

On social media, Parton earned high praise.

“How ’bout that Dolly Parton,” sports analyst Skip Bayless posted on X. “Talk about dressing for the occasion. Now that is is impressive.”

X users raved about the 77-year-old icon.
