Tucker Carlson is all in on a second term for former President Donald Trump but is adamant that he’d “advocate against” it over a VP pick.
The former Fox News host made no bones about his stance at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest on Monday where he told host Tim Pool in a discussion that he would fight any reelection bid by Trump if Nikki Haley were on the ticket as his running mate.
“Would you vote for Trump if he chose Nikki as VP?”Pool asked Carlson about the current Republican candidates and, specifically, about the former United Nations ambassador.
“I would not only not vote for that ticket, I would advocate against it as strongly as I could,” replied Carlson, who has had his own name thrown into the speculation game for potential vice president.
“That’s just poison,” he added.

“I mean, here’s someone who’s actively opposed to the interests of the country I grew up in, who endorsed the BLM riots, and who is not left, but is neoliberal in the darkest, most – speaking of nihilist – nihilistic way, and has no real popular support, is a creature of the oligarchs,” he said of the former governor of South Carolina.
“So yeah, that would be– that would be reason to oppose the ticket,” he reiterated.
With the liberal media fanning the flames of Haley’s campaign, she has moved up in polling, catching up to and in some cases beating Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in the second position, with Trump still leaving everyone in the dust as the frontrunner. On the campaign trail, DeSantis took aim at Haley, calling her out for not being upfront about a possible spot as VP.
“Haley and Trump spend money against me. He has not spent any money against her and she has not spent any money against him,” he said. “She will not answer directly, and she owes you an answer to this: Will she accept a vice presidential nomination from Donald Trump? Yes or no?”
DeSantis on Trump/Haley:
• Haley refuses to rule out being Trump’s VP, says he absolutely would not be VP
• Says he’s the only candidate that can beat Trump, Haley can’t win because she doesn’t have enough support among conservatives and core Republicans

Trump’s daughter-in-law Lara Trump n did not exactly rule out a Trump-Haley ticket.
“Crazier things have happened. I don’t know. I would never say never with Donald J. Trump. Never say never,” she told Newsmax host Eric Bolling last week.
“Right now, I’m not even thinking about that,” the former president had said on the topic in a discussion with radio host Howie Carr last week.
“I’ve always gotten along with Nikki,” he said, but added it was “unlikely” he would select her, contending that they have “some things in common and some things we don’t have in common, and some of those things are pretty important.”
