Former President Donald Trump targeted his ex-White House spokesperson after celebrating his New Hampshire primary victory.
The 2024 Republican presidential frontrunner took to his Truth Social platform late Tuesday to call out his former press secretary Kayleigh McEnany.Though it was not entirely clear what Trump was reacting to, many felt it was her commentary on Fox News in the analysis of the primary that triggered her former boss.
“This was actually a fairly good night for Joe Biden,” McEnany was saying in a clip from the night circulating on social media.
“When you look at our voter analysis, only ten percent said ‘I would not vote for Biden if he was the nominee,'” she continued, adding that “the divides in the Democrat Party perhaps are not as stark as one would think.”
Kayleigh: This was actually a fairly good night for Joe Biden. Only 10% said they would not vote for Biden if he was the nominee… When you look at the Republican Party, 7/10 Haley voters said they wouldn’t vote for Trump. pic.twitter.com/UDKXFH543M

“But when you look at the Republican Party, seven out of ten Haley voters said ‘I would not vote for Trump,'” McEnany said, before doling out advice to the former president.
“If I’m Trump, I sit back and I exclusively focus on the general election. I take the posture of a presumptive nominee,” she said. “I focus on number one, uniting the party and number two, winning the independents – which Nikki Haley won 55 to 39 percent…For all in tents and purposes, he’s the presumptive nominee.”
But if this was the clip that set Trump off, he appeared not to appreciate any advice from his former spokesperson.
“I don’t need any advice from RINO Kayleigh McEnany on Fox,” he wrote Tuesday. “Just had a GIANT VICTORY over a badly failing candidate, ‘Birdbrain,’ and she’s telling me what I can do better.”
“Save your advice for Nikki!” he added.
