Elon Musk and others reacted to a stunning video clip of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) previewing censorship efforts in a Democratic administration.
The far-left congresswoman openly discussed the end of free speech as we know it should Vice President Kamala Harris win the election in November, saying lawmakers like herself are “looking into” ways of “reining in the media environment.”
“I do think that several members of Congress and some of my discussions have brought up media literacy because that is a part of what happened here,” Ocasio-Cortez said in the short video clip posted by journalist and writer from Malaysia, Ian Miles Cheong.
“And we’re going to have to figure out how we reign in our media environment so that you can’t just spew disinformation and misinformation,” AOC added in the posted video which did not cite when or where she made the stunning remarks.

“Who made her the arbiter of the truth?” Cheong wrote in his now-viral post.
“They’re coming for X,” he warned.
The post has garnered more than 6.5 million views since being shared Sunday evening. And among the 12,000 comments, billionaire X owner Elon Musk responded to Cheong with a simple 100 emoji, generally thought to indicate the sentiment, “absolutely” or “keep it real.”
Musk was not alone in his reaction as X users flooded the post with comments on the real danger Democrats pose to free speech.
This ideology will be in the Oval Office, West Wing, & East Wing if Harris wins.
